You have a good percentage in high school and jee you'll get scholarships like 1.4 lakh.
Faculties were very friendly and approachable,motivated students who lack in academics, encourage students who are talented, solve their doubts
The infrastructure of the campus just looking like a wow, the cub activities provided here is well good to equiped by the students and has many field of interest of the students the club activities are provided

Dislikes

Sometimes the mess food worst. It's based on the mood of the contract team. I literally hate that kind of attitude.
Sometimes you might feel a stress of the curriculum has there will be a limited time
their rules are a bit more rude and strict

Honest review about karunya

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered in karunya university. Every year around 80% of the eligible students were placed. Some of the notable recruiters are Nutanix, TCS, Accenture, Byju's, Infosys, Zoho. There are about 500+ offers made totally. The highest package is anywhere between 12lac/annum to 18lac/annum. But only about 5% of the students will get selected for this package mainly from CS department.The main drawback is that there will be only a limited no of core companies visiting for campus recruitment. For biosciences, the top recruiters are only from Zifo, Nestle, and from some startup companies. Other than that most of the students will get placed in good companies where the package ranges anywhere between 1.8lac/annum to 4lac/annum. From the 6th semester, students will get placement training. The management is working to bring more core companies, so in the future students will get even more placement opportunities. My plan is to get into the government sector and I'm working on it while pursuing maters.

Remarks:

I didn't have a great JEE score, so I wanted to get in a good College without JEE and Good hostel facility and this college has it all. It offers my desired course in Electronics with good placements. https://www.karunya.edu/

Awesome college

Remarks:

Discipline and spiritual aspects of the college are awesome. The process, time table and teaching of staff, communication of staff towards students were awesome and great. Food in the hostels was always yummy and hostel rooms were always neat and clean. Water facility at rooms for drinking and in bathrooms were superb. Wifi facility in hostels are superb and daily 2 hours of study hours irritates us but at the end of college I realized that it should be there even at UG level which helped me later. Wearing formal dresses irritated at the begining but later we understood that one was also a nice one. Climate was always enjoyable makes us to feel as we are in hill stations.

Life in Karunya Institute

Remarks:

Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences is a Deemed University under UGC 1956.It is one of best Christian Institution in India .Its ranks 101-150 according to Nirf ranking .It has a beautiful climate and a pleasant atmosphere because it is situated in foothills of siruvani .It provides great placement offers .In 2020 Microsoft Corperation joined hands with Karunya (2020).It has well equipped labs and great infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

In the third year, students can start sitting for campus placements. Nutanix, Accenture, and Samsung are some of the companies that come for campus placements. The highest package that I am aware of is by Nutanix of 19.5 lakhs/annum. And the average one is by other companies of 4.5 lakhs/annum. 80% maybe, I am not sure. After getting the degree, I will work for few years if I get a job while pursuing the degree, or I would prepare for higher studies.

An average student"s review

Remarks:

The college is good for its campus atmosphere and climate. We have good faculty over here. Coming to the cons we have a bit strict campus life and rest all is good. The admission process is very simple and we can avail scholarship if you have more than 60% in your UG course. You can fill the application and pay your fee online once your online admission form is approved. Faculty support is good. I would prefer because of the climate, faculty, academic life.

Favourite college ever

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are ae to got placement in top companies according to their CGPA. Around 75-80% of students get placed. Higher salary package around 25 LPA and lowest salary package 3 LPA. Top companies like Infosys, Byju's and so on

Awesome experience as ex- karunyan

Placement Experience:

We had national and international placements. Where 100% job opportunity for the students. So it is compulsory for most of the students to attend the placements and are alloted with a good package. The average package of 2lakhs pr annum to 12 lakhs per annum.

Remarks:

The place where it is located, It is located between mountains and rivers such a beautiful place and the infrastructure, hostel are amazing. The staffs are friendly and helpful. There are every kind of playing space both indoor and outdoor, high quality indoor nd outdoor football and basketball courts. Almost every student get placed for at least 3LPA.

From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. Accenture, Bosch, etc 32L pa is the highest package 90 percentage of the students will get placed Getting placed in a good company with a good package is my dream.

One of my friends studied at Karunya University. According to him, it is very reputed in the country. The campus environment is peaceful and comfortable.

The infrastructure of its campus is very beautiful and various kinds of facilities are available for the students.
The laboratories available at this college are good and equipped with modern machinery.
There are hostels available for the students. All basic facilities such as laundry service are being provided to the students.
These facilities are a big relief to those students who don't have enough free time to wash their clothes.
The rules and regulations of this institution are very strict, especially for girls.
The campus is far away from the main city of Coimbatore, sometimes it becomes difficult to travel from the city to campus.
You will have to take permission from the administration for almost everything by writing them a letter or an application.

Hence, the rules and regulations of this university are very strict and you will have to abide by all the rules if you wish to study at this university.

A few of my friends have studied here and their experiences have been moderate. Karunya University has improved over the years but you cannot expect too much from here.

Following are some of the pros and cons of the university:

Pros –

Good infrastructure with well-equipped facilities including hostels
Climate is good throughout the year.
Ragging is comparatively low.
If you are a person who accumulates arrears this is the place for you. University will help you out, a supplementary examination is held in the middle of a semester just to help students clear their arrears.
WiFi connection is available.
You can choose faculties as per your wish

Cons –

There is a morning assembly every day. This includes starting prayer, ending prayer and in between someone will pray for you from the stage. You should maintain 80% of attendance for Assembly.
Management is not efficiently managed
The grading system is not fair. There will be four to five faculties for the same subject.

If you are opting for Karunya University, then go only for CSE as only it is good. Other departments like ECE and EE do not have proper faculty members or infrastructure. Do not waste your time in such departments.
