SASTRA Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Since I am still studying I am not aware of the placement procedures but from my senior I heard some things.i can share it From 3 rd year they will start pre placement training. Lots of IT companies will visit For my department 2-3 companies is hiring

The placemnets were pretty good from biotech companies like Dr. REddys and some other small non research companies. A lot of people got admitted, Also the staffs or your mentor will continuously share details of recruitments in whatsapp group. But the con was that it will all be in southern parts of India only

The students should be maintaining a minimum cgpa of 7 and a cgpa of above 8 will be good enough for any company. Many companies usually visit the university offering placements. The highest package is around 32lpa and the average will like 6 or 8 lpa.

As per my opinion, the course curriculum neither good nor bad. It should be more elaborating, but in such a way so that we can get to understand the topic easily. And will perform in the exams with our 100% of knowledge

There is campus placements in sastra. In fact most of the students gets placed through campus placements from what I have heard from my seniors. Main recuters are PayPal. Paypal offered highest package of 44 low in 2024

From 7th semester students are eligible for placement there are total 250 to 300 companies visited every year Highest package is around 36lpa and average package is around 7-8lpa 90% student get placed from sastra every year my plan after getting degree is to going for higher studies

From 3rd year,6th semester students can appear in placement interviews. Interviews from many companies happens throughout this period. 60 to 70% students get placed and balance will be going for PG studies. My plan after graduation will be looking for jobs or get placed in college itself

Placements here is Decent when compared to Other colleges. According to this year Average Package is 4.5 LPA And the Highest package is 32 LPA Placements training will be start for students in 3rd Year itself.

in the 7th sem the students are eligible for placements. Prominant companies like ....Bosch, TCS, Infosys, IFB, Goldmann, Paypal etc are regular companies which take students from SASTRA. Highest offered package has gone upto 30lpa and average being 7lpa. Lot of efforts are made from the management side o bring in more companies. My paln is to write civil service exams

The students are eleigible to sit for placements from their 7th semester having a minimum CGPA of 6.5. Top companies like Wells Fargo, Freshworks, TCS, Zoho and other domain specific companies all visit the campus and offer upto 15LPA if the candidate is hired. The placement percentage is around 80%. My plans would be pursue PhD abroad upon the completion of my degree.
