Likes

They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

A review for NIT Agartala from an average student.

Likes

I liked the club culture of the college.
I also like the college campus environment.
I like the sports culture in the college too.

Dislikes

I did not like some specific senior-junior interaction behavior.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college is quite good. Students get elegible for campus placements from 7th semester. Companies like google, amazon, wipro, infoysis, Tata, samsung visit every year. The highest package provided to a student was from google for an amount of 52 lpa for IT sector. Percentage of students getting placements varies from branch to branch. Highest among is ECE with a rate of 100% of placements of registered students and CSE for the best average package of 19 lpa. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good placement from the college.

the old machinery can be replaced , more plantation can be done inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course helped me to understand computer science in depth, like how computers work to what are the various functions it can do and so on. The course helped me to understanding programming which can be used to solve real life problems very easily.

I liked the sports facilities hereditary

Dislikes

I didn't liked the canteens here and also food is not good here

Placement Experience:

Placements are good here like from 7th semester onwards students are ellible for Placements and around 140to 200 companies visit here and the highest package was 53 lakh per annum last year and average is around 10lakh aroun 85 percent students get placed and from top branches 100 percent Placements are there

The adventurous and a fabulous experience

Likes

Overall the college is good and its a great place to develop urself and gain lots of experience about life and several other fields.
The infrastructure, the faculties, the staff and the hostel wardens, they are really good
The professors and the dean are also very good, they are very active in their work.

Dislikes

The placement scenario and the very poor network system.
The college is in north-east which isnt that explored and the main city is too far from the campus.
overall, the college is good and a good place for doing btech after clearing JEE examination

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario here at NITA is moderate and the companies that visit here are as follows: Cognizant, Amazon, Hitachi, Reliance, and a lot more FOR cse: 70% placed for ece: 70% placed for electrical: 60% for civil, mechanical and others: 50%

Likes

The campus was quite good and the amount of stationaries it have was great.
The cultural and technical fest was extremely good.
The teachers were the backbone of our college, because they were very polite and helpful.

Dislikes

We don't have any dedicated building, we do class in library.
The college is located in a very remote area i.e far from main city.
Some developments were needed in our college in terms of buildings, complexes, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was very helpful for students who wanted to focus on marketing, business etc. We have monthly seminars that helps us to built confidence which will be very helpful in real life experiences. The teachers were very professional they teaches us very well about every topics.

Likes

I liked the campus it was very big and well established
I also liked the fests happen in our campus.
I liked the behaviour of our teachers and the practical knowledge provided by them.

Dislikes

Some infrastructure can be rebuilt as they were old.
The area where the college located was little bit dangerous.
We don't get any chance to sit in IT placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This was slightly difficult, it was more likely physical experience and practicals rather than just theory, the teaching method on our college was really nice the teachers weir also generous to help us and the difficult level of the exams were quiet hard.

I liked the Greenery of the campus most.The campus is so beautiful
I liked the sports facilities over here , NIT AGARTALA participate in inter NIT tournament every
I liked the clubs facilities of NIT AGARTALA, There are various clubs, a student can join anyone of the club based on their interest

Dislikes

I didn't like the exam stresses as nit Agartala conducts exam in every 2 to 2.5 months
I didn't like the bus facilities of NIT AGARTALA.The condition of the buses are worst

Placement Experience:

The placement ratio of NIT AGARTALA is very good.The highest package of civil engineering department is 16.5LPA, minimum package is 4.5LPA and the average package is 9.7LPA. Every n number of companies visit the campus for core sector as well as for IT sector. Depending upon the demand some PSU do visit the campus.overall the campus placement is very good.The students become eligible for seating in placement drive from 7th semester onwards and continues till 8th semester

The fee management lags. The fee structure doesn't seem to what our actual fee is

From 3rd year they become eligible for campus placements Accenture, IBM, tata But in core branches, girls are not given so much opportunity to work About 78% of the students get placed every year from different branches After my btech, I wanted to take Gate exam for higher studies and do an mtech

Nothing much to hate in my department.Every thing is Student friendly

In our Electrical Rngineering course it provide us the knowledge about out surrounding electrical organisation.The curriculum is well planes .Our department offers site visits in different plants of our state.The exams are organised in 4months of the start of the seassion and Exam questions are standard enough .

I like the most is our campus natural habitat, our college is located in very remote area surrounded by greenery amd peaceful nature.
I like the hostel life in our college. The hostel life in our colleges is very nice. As a student from different states come to study and stay in hostels
The most important thing they that I love is my department. Its beautiful, its big, it gives me motivation to move ahead.

Dislikes

The internet facility provided by our college authority is very bad. That is the most important thing an Engineering College
The food at hostels is very bad, mostly they dont change menu and the regular food is also not upto the mark
Maintenance of the college infrastructure. We have a very good infrastructure but it's degrading day-by-day

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is good enough. Every branch is offered good number of placements with good Amount of CTC, the average package of our whole college is around 7-8 lakhs, according to last year's report, but it widely varies from branch to branch.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
