Likes

They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

A good college

Likes

The campus is big and field with greenery.
The faculty are very friendly and very Cooperative and they providers help whenever we need.
The environment here is quite positive and quiz encourageous to do something creative and innovative

Dislikes

I think the campus must provide more dustbin because in the road the number of business is very much less
The classrooms must be more modernised such as application of white board.
The campuses big so I think the college should provide some bicycle for transportation purpose.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year 6th sem.companies that visit such as Vedanta Mahindra Ashok Leyland TCS Infosys Wipro. Almost 92-95% students got placement. My current plan is to appear in GATE exam and apply for MTech.

Library, where we can get all the necessary books .
Labs, where we gain knowledge about the practical applications.

Few faculty members classes (not all) whose explanation are difficult to understand

Placement Experience:

Our college provides good placements . From 3rd year or 5th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited our campus are phonpe, Amazon and lot more . The average package students are being offered is 26 lpa. Every year 85% of them get placements.

Likes

Green environment all over in campus feels me fresh and happy .Size of campus is also a good thing . Because of hilly regions the roads are quite up and down that sounds good.
This college is far from main market and it make this good because far from materialistic things
Faculties are in friendly nature as we know this area is near Bangladesh so generally teachers are also Bengali and they spoke Bengali language

Dislikes

Surrounding areas are full of backward classes so there is lack of good and fast facilities
Campus is so big and this make us travel more and more it took about 15 min for reaching college from hostel

Placement Experience:

The average package in ECE is around 12 lakh and in IT companies it is around 30 lakh .The placement ratio is quite good it is about 70 percent placement in all over .In IT as well as in Core companies also .this is all because of the location of this college that many companies not come .

NIT AGARTALA - In a nutshell!

Likes

Placements - As I think it is pretty good here and there is no such problem regarding placements
Clubs- The clubs are very active and the club members are very friendly with new joiners out there
Fest- All the important fests like Annual Cultural Fest,Tech fest are organised here in a decent level

Dislikes

Academics - I guess the academics out here is not that good and it very average
Internships - It is very hard to get internships out here as the number of companies which come for internships are quite less
Infrastructure - The infrastructure of the college is also not good

Placement Experience:

The placements here are pretty good if you are in a circuital branch but It is slightly on the average side if you got branches like Civil, Production, Mechanical etc. If the Campus placements are not good then students here are also doing coaching for other competitive exams like UPSC, CAT , GATE etc

Students Eye View of NIT AGARTALA

Likes

The natural beauty of this wide spread campus.
The teaching methodologies and caring nature of faculties.
The placement scenarios are the loveliest.

Dislikes

There's nothing one can dislike about considering what we find here.

Placement Experience:

Every Year There's more than 50 companies visiting the campus and more than 85% students are placed as software engineers , MTE , Analyst, core engineers etc. Companies visiting includes HPCL, BPCL, TOSHIBA , MATHWORLS , ORACLE, L&T, SIEMENS, TVS , MAHINDRA, TATA, ASHOK LEYLAND , etc. The highest package provided is 52lpa and average is 15lpa. I personally aim to get placed as a Instrumentation Engineer on getting my degree.

All about college from application form to placement

Likes

Large number of clubs on each and every aspect of growth. From music , dancing, drama, cultural, coding (Google developer &DCC), robotics, racing car making to enterpreneual club,
Less stress due to exam faculties and teachers are very kind and understnding .
A great group of like minded friends and support from the seniors.

Dislikes

Connectivity issue from all over the india ,you have to come here either from aeroplane or in a 2 or 3 day train journey if you don't belong to northeastern states.
A lot of greenery ,large area converted into jungle and not cleanliness in college shopping complex or near the roads.
Not the big cultural events even moksha happened after 4 year.

Placement Experience:

In or after 3 rd year students become eligible for campus placement. Total 80 companies visited college during placement session 2023-2024. 431 numbers of offers received by the students upto 25 january 2024.below table is for btech Branch Minimum pack Maximum package Civil Eng. 4.5 16.5 Mechanical Eng. 4.8 20 Electrical Eng. 5 30 ECE 5 30 EIE 5 19.8 Chemical Eng. 5 16.50 Production Eng. 3.5 18 Computer Science 3.5 52 All are in lakh per annum Percentage of students getting placed from all the branches is 40.4053 My plan is to slide my branch to CSE and take a good placement .

Likes

The college campus is good. the classes are provided with projectors
Fields are there and there is a separate sports complex
Hostel is now considered as the home for us..

Dislikes

Nothing that much i disliked to be honest

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being honest my admission was unplanned. as i was working in a postal department under the central Govt. after two months of doing that job ..i decided to pursue my career somewhere else and that time only choosing this engineering course could helped me by giving me reason to resign from that job .

NIT AGARTALA: Pros and Cons

Likes

Greenery: I liked how the campus was planned with so much space between buildings and so much lush greenery which gives you a positive peace of mind.

Dislikes

We did not have much freedom to choose our elective subjects in the last semester.

Placement Experience:

The placements are decent but it also depends on the economic conditions of that year. Placement season begins from 7th semester. Many reputed MNCs like Google and Amazon do visit our campus but they hire very few people. Apart from them more reputed firms like Oracle, TCS, PhonePe, Infosys, Amdocs,etc also visit the campus but the number of people they hire does not remain the same.Our batch in particular had one of the worst placement seasons because of the recession. Generally the overall percantage of placed students used to be almost above 90 but it is struggling to reach even 70 this year. So there are oppurtunities but dont think that there is any guarantee you will be having a job offer at the end of your degree.

NIT AGARTALA is the best collage in INDIA for us.

Likes

Our collage maintain every rule kindly.and diciplain maintain are work in every students. so i like this things
Our collage faculty are very talanted and very good personality and their teaching is vry good so i like this things.
Our collage is very good and beautiful and safely.hostel is very beautifui so i like this things.

Dislikes

But many time hostel management are not maintain their rules so it is very bad for us.
Many times for collage fest our classes has been missed so it is very bad for collage students.
last one or two years our collage placement are very bad so it is very bad things for our collage and students.

Placement Experience:

Third semister collage students are elligible for campus placement. TATA COMPANY,TVS COMPANY,GAILS LIMITTED,ONGC and other many big company are provided for placement for collage students.and package are highily. our collage highest package is 5200000. approximate 80 percent students are getting placement. After gatting degree my dream is complate in phd in IIT.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
