They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

The college campus is big and beautiful.in campus there are school park, shopping complex everything is there
In my branch not all facilities is good .some of them are quite harsh on students so we couldn't talk with them by our heart out and feel hasitate.also there are some good faculty also
This year placement is up to the mark as I expected but some of the students placed in a very good companies.overall it is an average stage

Dislikes

Sometimes the behaviour of the faculties and the marking systems in exam, sometimes they biased about some students
Academic pressure is quite high .extra curriculars are very less.the attendance criteria.
Labs are not much effective according to our course . theoretical knowledge is vast but practical knowledge is very less

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide sufficient amount of knowledge about placements and also any competitive govt. Exams . it also covers Gate syllabus also.but in my point of view the other curricular activities should have been better as of the academic pressure too much

college infrastructre is new and it has a very big sports complex.
it has an amazing library with lots of books for the nerds.
it has a very green atmosphere due to good amount of trees in campus.

Dislikes

faculties from the home state are not qualified to be a good professor.
people here are so mean specially the natives of here are not helpful and they try to scam you always.
college is too far from the main city which poses a problem to us.

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem students get eligible fort campus placements. some of the companies that visit are accenture, L and T ,google ,phonepay,paytm etc. and some core companies also come for core placements . phone pay gave around 16 lakh to 20 students approx. around 80 percent student get place everytime but this time only 60 percent due to recession. m plans are to get good placement.

The Best NIT in North East

Likes

Very Big and Green Campus with lot of empty space to chill with friends
Department infrastructure is excellent specially technical departments like CSE and ECE
Our college has the largest sports complex in any NIT in India

Dislikes

College is kind of far from city and Rail Stations
Strict Hostel policy and gate policy is there
Being a big campus you have to walk a lot to get to our department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very good and upto the mark. Professors are very helpful and supporting, Labs are full furnished and net and clean with all required equipments. Exams are quiet easy and cover all topics in class

Top engineering college of Agartala

Likes

I liked the campus , it's very greenery here.
The facilities teaches very well and help us whenever we need.
We get different types of scholarships which help us to manage with the collage fees and other things.

Dislikes

We don't have air conditioner in our classrooms.
Female washroom's condition is not good .
There are no CCTV in the campus except the office rooms.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit every year like TCS , Ashok Leyland, TATA elxsi, Oracle and many more. They take many students like in last year also Oracle took 30 students those who have good coding skills.

MY HONEST VIEW ABOUT "NIT AGARTALA"

Likes

The infrastructure of our college department building and hostels provided is very good.
The sports facilities provided in Nit agartala is very good, the sports complex of nit Agartala is the largest sports complex of all nits.
The guidance of faculties are very good, they play an important rule in a student life. Such as incampus placement, faculties are giving guidance to the student for placement interview and others

Dislikes

The mess food provided in the very fast year is very poor quality. The taste is not good.
Many faculties are not giving guidance efficiently. They behave with student with very improper manner and harshly
Many companies are wouldn't visit to the college due to the fact that it is in remote state and having difficulties in communication

Placement Experience:

The placement in our college is very good for circuital branches such as electronics and communication, electrical, electronics and instrumentation. The average package offered to these branches is approximately 14 lakh per annum to 18 lakh per annum. The topmost branch of our college is computer science engineering. The highest package gone through in previous year was 54 lakh per annum offered by Amazon. The mediocre branches such as mechanical, chemical civil, production are also given placement average 7 to 8 lakh per annum which is comparatively is low. Many multinational companies, government aided companies and PSU are visited nit Agartala to give placement to the desired student. But various companies, they are not even come to nit Agartala for main reason such as it is in North East of our. The difficulty to communicate with roadways. There are also other issues which are also having play rule in difficulties to providing incampus placement.

NITA in a Nutshell

Likes

The culture of NIT Agartala and the quality of education.
The students are enthusiastic whether it's coding or core field. It motivates me to get better and enhance my skills.
The involvement of various clubs and extracurricular activities. It provides exposure to various other fields.

Dislikes

The bus facility is average. Some of the buses are really old. They should get new ones.
The quality of food is not that good. More canteens should be there to provide good quality of food.
The hostel timings for girls are very restricted as compared to boys. Girls in time is 6:30 pm where as boys in time is 9:30-10 pm.

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of 4th year , one can apply for placement.The highest package of 2023 is INR 52 LPA and average package is INR 7 LPA and lowest package is INR 3 LPA. The placement for 2023 is 78.88 %. Companies visit NITA are Mahindra, Deloitte, Tata Power, Capgemini, Gail India Limited, Accenture, Siemens etc. If any student fails to get placed, one can opt for higher education or off campus placements. My plan is to get placed in a core company after completing my B.Tech.

Likes

Environment of the college surrounding of the college is safe and secure.
My departments curriculum, good percentage of placement .
Sports complex infrastructure and sports environment of the college.

Dislikes

Internet connection in hostels is not so good.
Water supply in some buildings is not good.
Mess food sometimes is not good enough in taste.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenerio of my college is upto the mark.Students from 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Many companies both core and IT sector companies come for placements.The average pakage of the college is approx 700000.A good percentage of students are placed every year.My plans after getting the degree is to get a high paying job at software companies and earn experirnce also to excell further in life.

Students are eligible from seven semester for the placement of different companies.There are both core as well as IT companies come into our college like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Byjus, Vedanta, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Tata, etc.

My college life : it's ups and downs.

Likes

I like the culture , our seniors , our faculty , our fest .
our college's green surroundings like trees and all .
in our college we feel safe that what i like more in our college

Dislikes

i dislike the mess food more than anything .
and i dislike that the college should have their own market so that student can buy , we have to go 500 min away from hostel to buy something thats the big isuue .
the wifi i actually hate this , no data is available here hostel actually is very bad for an engineering student to not get data or internet properly .

From 3rd year 6 semester they are alligible for campus placement . Microsoft , lnt, orc , google , mahindra , and , many more . Highest package is 2 crore . Here if we take overall of every branch than it will be like 80% of getting placements . My plans after getting degree will be a job so that i can create a stability in my family after so much of pressure i can make them feel relief .

Broad Campus, Nice ventilation in CSE building
Availability of books in Library and good environment in Library
Canteen Food is good, there are a lot of canteens for different foods

Dislikes

Campus is way to big to explore or to travel from one to another for work stuffs, as it takes too much time
As after covid we entered college first in 4th semester of our course, college life didn't go as planned
As the college is too far, too much traffic, very hectic to travel

Placement Experience:

1. from 7th semester 2. more than 60-70 companies visited, more than half of the students placed 3. highest package - 31 LPA, average - 6 LPA 4.50 percent, much less than previous years 5. Getting a job in that field in metropolitan cities

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
