They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

NIT AGARTALA - Best College of North East

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. In our college , there has variety of companies are visited and recruiting the most of the students. The most core companies are L& T , Alstrom , AMN , Vedanta and many more. Almost 80 percent students of final year are placed in every year. I also placed in a company named Viraj Profiles Limited.

Remarks:

College was underrrated due to connectivity but now it is getting recognition. The reason, I got into this college was having low score and belonging to General category. Initially, I was sad for getting this college but facitllities are good and this college is growing day by day.

Distance from home, affordability and Reputation of the institution also the return of my investment seemed fruitful. The NIT carries a brand name which helps getting recognition and the faculties are pretty good and experienced. To add the environment of the college it was green and peaceful ideal for studying

NITA, where nature comes to life.

Remarks:

this institute was veryConsiderate about meritorious students who might not have good gate score. No extra fee was charged for non GATE admission. my course was relatively new so special attention was given to tbe students in the teaching process. It is a National Institute which is usually a higher echelon institute.Yet the teaching staff was humble and far more considerate about the problems a student face. The only down side was the administration department some of the students had to face a lot of issues when ot came to the disbursement of stipend. The faculty did a great job navigating the classes during the pandemic but the same tenacity and dedicated was a little wanting from the administrative department.

From 3rd year you can start getting placement in good companies, there are many companies that visit our colleges like mahindra, ashok leyland ,vedanta ,many more Many students get their placement in the 3 rd year itself.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onward one can sit on campus, and after getting a BTech degree student can go for a job. Wipro, Jio etc company have come. One student should have about 8 pointers for a company job. I haven't got for company job as I am willing to give the state TCS exam, as I want to become a people servent, by becoming a TCS Officer.

Every year's Nit Agartala create a huge placement record. Almost 50-70% of students get their job through college placement. The students have been hired by well-known companies in India and abroad. Nit Agartala placement cell organising personality development and training for students. In 2019 placement, a student received the highest salary 36 LPA. Average salary received by the per student's Rs 5 lakhs.

Technically from the 5th semester, the students are eligible for placements but practically the opportunity comes across you when you are in the 6th semester. And from the 7th semester, the real placement starts. Companies that came for placement drives are - Exposes, Oracle, IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd., Byjus, AUM Capital, Sunera Tech, DNJ Infotech, HPCL MITTAL ENERGY LIMITED, Allround. club, Revature, Investosure, Cvent, Paytm, Vedanta, FYI Iqunti India Pvt Ltd, Arti, Scaler, etc.

NIT Agartala is an awesome college to get admission

Placement Experience:

The Final Year students are eligible to sit for campus placements. There is also some internship opportunities for the students. Many renowned companies visit the campus for placement drive and hire so many students. Some of the companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, LTI, Cognizant, Oracle, Alstom, Vedanta, L&T, Reliance, Capgemini, TATA etc. Due to the COVID-19 situation all over the world the some of the Core companies didn't visit this year. But most of the IT companies have visited the campus and hired most of the students. CSE has the highest number of placements followed by ECE, EIE, Electrical. The placement of Civil, Mechanical, Chemical and Production became less last year because most of the famous core companies didn't visit. Almost 200 students have placed in several companies. Some of the students got more than 1 offer too. The average package varies from 4 to 5 LPA. The highest salary package in the last year was 15 LPA. I got placed in DNJ Infotech and will do this job.

Remarks:

Good aspects are :-1. Very good and nice campus and better facility2. Good faculty with good knowledge and huge experience3. Better placement in the final year compared to other engineering colleges

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
