AMU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements at AMU are quite good but not as expected from such a kind of University. The average package is 4-5 LPA. For CS it is 6-7 LPA and a new branch AI is started in AMU from 2021 whose placements are expected to be good in the upcoming first placements of this branch. And soon new branch of mathematics and computing will also be introduced in AMU as our professors said this to us. For mechanical and lower branches it is 4 LPA. The highest package is 20 LPA. 80-85 % of students get placed here. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, adobe, L&T, etc. But the best thing about AMU is that if you want to do research and want to do fully funded scholarship masters from abroad like Canada, Germany, Australia then it is one of the best. And also for your overall development, this University is best.

I always had a huge interest in the engineering field that's why I chose this engineering field in this college. the college is Co-ed and the student-faculty ratio is also decent. All the faculty members are professors with tons of teaching and research experience. Exams are Semester wise only. First Sem exams were quite easy.

They do not provide placement at a good rate only a few students get placement very rarely. the average package can be 200000 per annum. the company that visit our campus are HDFC, WIPRO, INFOSYS and a few others I have some other plans after BCom I'm also doing a professional courses COST AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING

I always wanted to go into the Applied Maths Field. So Bachelors in Science with Mathematics Honours has to be my field of interest that's why I chose this course. The faculty here is highly qualified and professional. Each and every teacher is a P.hd I respective fields with a lot of teaching experience. The Physics Department of Aligarh Muslim University is one of the best physics departments in the country. Amu gives us everything that a student needs from a central University even at this low cost. We do have smart classes with modern teaching methods. Exams are Semester Wise i.e. Once every 6 months. The exam needs focused study to pass with a good score. overall the difficulty is 7/10.

From 5th semester students can give interviews and who get placements the pay scale for placements is from 4.5 lakh pa to 8 lakh per annum, which is quite good for a freshy student . I will do my master in computer science. As i want to be a software engineer in future.

I have always been of a very curious nature, I seek answers and when I got to know that physics is all about answers I knew that this course was for me. As I'm not backed by a much financially sound family I chose Aligarh Muslim University as I got to know that it is comparatively much cheaper besides being one of the best institutes to pursue a bachelor's degree in physics. The faculty constitutes of the much of the highly qualified teachers across the country but it's not as though there aren't many teachers who lack the skills to properly teach, with all due respect. Which is a downside of the university or at least the course I opted. I've never felt a shortage of techers for each subject there are at least six to seven teachers which gives us varies ideas in the same topic. The terms exams are mostly held as per pre-planned although in online mode there was a little hassle in the initial days but all in all it's a good experience.

In this course, in the final year which is 3rd year the students becomes eligible for the campus placements and many companies have visited the campus for hiring students and many students get job in very good companies.

Placement is good and various companies like adobe, Google, IBM, reliance Jio, Qualcomm, Infosys, Paytm,Wipro, TCS, B. P. C. L, atom labs, cognizant, HCL, and many more. From the 6th semester, students got eligible for campus placement. And I am currently in the second semester so I don't have many details. Almost 50% got placed. But my plan after getting the degree is to give gmat and do MBA from abroad teachers are very supportive and help the student to apply abroad.

Campus placement is offered and placement is also for ug corse and package is average many companies visit 90% students placed in technical courses i am in bsc Hons maths so i decided to go in reasearc field get higher education in this field
