I'd also like to remind you that scholarship opportunities are available to help ease the financial burden.
Some of the profs are really very great as they encourage us to think outside of the box.
Campus is good, friends are good, clubs and societies are good and the fest is good

Dislikes

The number of shops are very less in the college campus, which is very bad.
This year 2023-2024 , the placement stats has dropped due to recession all among the world leading to less hiring opportunities for freshers.
Professor are very strict here in academics and academic is also very hard.

Likes

Campus life is good here with all the basic amenities like parlour, Nescafe, juice centre everything is in the college premises.

Dislikes

There is nothing I don't disliked about the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements here is good, average package is around 6L. The college also provides internship opportunities, they bring good companies in the campus. This College is really good in terms of ROI. Currently my seniors got placed in BDO , INDIAMART, GROWTH JOCKEY.

The placement are one of the best as it's and government institution which says for itself, the name IIIT speaks for itself when a candidate goes for an interview they're treated like that. The placement ranges from 42 lpa to 6 lpa

College provides good infrastructure and good and safe enviroment . Teaching experience is also good enough
College conducts various fests like ASMITA,EFFERVECENCE ,APROKSHA
Curriculum designed in a proper manner according to the current trend .

Placement Experience:

college offers good range of placements in every course . For Btec heighest package was aprox 1.3cr and average is aprox 30 lakhs . If we talk about masters courses average placement is 19 lakhs which is quit good . Last year there was 100% Placement offered .

Placements stats is also good awoth avg package of 4 LPA and highest of 8 LPA Placements stats differ from year to year Companies like icici Lombard, edukyu , BDO , Sutherland visit for campus placement Almost every students get placement with decent package

IIIT Allahabad Experience: Unveiling Academic, Social, and Career Dimensions

Some faculty have strong academic backgrounds
Old Placements are nice and can be compared to nits and iiits.
Stipend is provided for Teaching Assistant of 12400 rs

Dislikes

Tight academic schedule and some professors are arrogant
Placement are not good for students in 2022-24 mtech batch
College is located in village, so it is difficult with shops and outside environment

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Allahabad, campus placements start from the 7th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and others visit, offering lucrative packages. The highest package can go up to 40 LPA, with an average of around 10 LPA. A high percentage of students secure placements. Post-degree, many opt for higher studies or pursue career opportunities in tech companies or research institutes.

I loved the coding culture of the college.
There is Air conditioned mess in every hostel.
Sports facilities are good here in the campus.

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not so upto the mark.(small campus)
The library is very small here in the campus.
Some of the labs need maintenance and few electronic gadgets are not working.

Campus Placements are great, there is a market slowdown but most(70%) of them from mtech got placed this year and still the placements are going on. Other than that you will have internship opportunities from the college or as well as outside the campus as well. From the last two years, 6-month internship is provided to mtech as well.

Likes

Interaction with seniors is good which you can create by participating in fest.
Placement is also very good. If you see average, our college average was 32 lakh last year.
Freedom. You can roam in campus at night at any time.there are no restrictions for boys

Dislikes

Exams are way too frequent so can't get time for other activites
Schedule is very hectic.classes all day long.
Poor sports facilities. Old equipments. If you are very good ins ports and want to go further then then it will not be possible in this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well I had interest in ece. The curriculum is not that much good. There are opportunities to do research under professors. There should be an improvement in the frequency of exams. They take a lot of exams so we don't get time for other activities and core learning.

Coding Culture and technical enviorment are very good in IIIT allahabad
Seniors of our college are so helpful in nature and are always ready to help their juniors.
Academic structure is so well planned and well executed. Faculties are also very good.

Dislikes

The campus area is very small . The maximum area is covered by the faculty area.
The number of shops are very less in the college campus, which is very bad.
The locality is very bad . Its very out from the city.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIIT Allahabad is above average. Like in our starting of 5th semester the intern season starts. Many students got their intern during that time. But in general , in the start of 7th sem the placement season starts. Number of companies are nearly 150+ and almost all the students get placed every year. The highest package of this year is 1crore and average package is 20 lakhs .

IIIT Amethi is situated near a village named Tikarmafi, 10 km away from Amethi. It has its own perks. Here are some factors about the institute.

Academics:

Both IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Amethi have the same curriculum and professors. Because of that, professors visit the Amethi campus on a daily basis.
As almost everything is similar for both campuses, the exams are also conducted parallelly in both of them, making them at par for things related to academics.

Placements:

Students of IIIT Amethi are shifted to the campus of IIIT Allahabad after their 4th year, securing them placements similar to the Allahabad campus.
Needless to say, IIIT Allahabad does come with good placements. IIIT Amethi also enjoys the same privilege as placement is same for both the institutes.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

This is exactly where you can set the contrast between the two campuses. IIIT Amethi lacks good infrastructure. It is a very compressed campus with only two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel.
There had not been any sports facilities in the institute before. But at present, it has standard Basketball courts, a Badminton court, TT tables and a playground for cricket.
The labs and libraries are minuscule too. It can hardly support the strength.
Besides, you might also not find any up-to-the-mark food items around the campus, but just snacks to keep the day going.
There’s an option to take a bus ride to visit a town nearby, Sultanpur, which helps in a way to let students escape from the everyday life at Amethi, and rather spend time in that area, or buy decent food.

IIIT Amethi does have its fair share of disadvantages but it offers good placement in top-notch MNCs such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe, etc. Also, the pros outweigh the con for IIIT Amethi.
