I'd also like to remind you that scholarship opportunities are available to help ease the financial burden.
Some of the profs are really very great as they encourage us to think outside of the box.
Campus is good, friends are good, clubs and societies are good and the fest is good

Dislikes

The number of shops are very less in the college campus, which is very bad.
This year 2023-2024 , the placement stats has dropped due to recession all among the world leading to less hiring opportunities for freshers.
Professor are very strict here in academics and academic is also very hard.

Food,fest cancellation,no proper schedules
Teachers not giving a thing about dropped subjects
Early morning schedule, compensation of holidays by making weekends as working days

This college is known for it's fabulous packages and it's campus placements. The average package is 30 lakhs per annum reaching a highest of 1.2 crore per annum . I think this might be the best environment to get your dream package

Likes

The fests and events are conducted very joyfully
There is well technical and all equipment in the college
College provides great experiences by conducting different live projects and different workshops

Dislikes

Sometimes the fests and holidays will be cancelled due to exams
The work sometimes given will be so hectic that it should be done should submitted in time
There will be always extreme temperatures here that sometime it will too hot and at some nights it will be too cool

Placement Experience:

The college provides really am excellent average package of nearly 30lpa which is very high compared to other iiit's or other national institutes. The highest package is nearly 2cr last year . And even almost every student's secures a good placement here . My plan after getting a job is to do ms in the us

I liked the course curriculum In the college
I liked the average placement offered in the college.
I liked the competitive programming culture in college

Dislikes

Mess food is not so great in the mess we get repeated items
There is a lot of college burden in curriculum
There are fests but are not done as per the date

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are very good.the highest placement offered is 1.2 crore CTC.the average package is also very good 32 lpa.FAANG Companies come to offer packages to students .it even has a record of 100 percent placements

IIITA-The centre of excellence

Likes

Hostel Life is very fun. No matter what time it is you will always find someone to accompany you.
College life is interesting. Everyone will find their hobby because of so many clubs to take part into.

Dislikes

Sometimes life gets hectic. When exams approach pressure becomes high.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to sit for placements in 7 semester. In 5 semester students are eligible for internship opportunities. Every top product based company visits and recruits from this college few of which are Amazon, BlackRock, Microsoft, Adobe etc . Highest package offered was 82.5Lpa and average was close to 30Lpa. Percentage of students getting placement is approximately 96%. After getting a degree I plan to work as a software developer in a product based company.

things i dislike about my college is they speak in hindi instead of english which benefits north indian students where south indian sucks

yeah the placements are going good but the issue right now is lay offs . and girls are benifitted a lot as the companies hire girls easily relative to boys in general they say. the companies which visit our college are like oracle, google etc.,

Best Coding Culture Collage With best Placement IIIT-A

Coding culture and dedication towards computer science

Placement Experience:

IIITA is best known for its coding culture and amazing placement. Every year 98% of the batch gets placed with average package 29-30 lakhs. The collage make 1cr+ CTC per annum as highest package every and 12-15lakhs CTC per annum as it's minimum package. This amazing placement package is because of the only top 120 -150 companies visit the campus which includes Google,Apple,meta,Amazon,J&P Morgan and list goes on. After getting degree as any other student want get placed in top companies with maximum package possible.

All about IIITA

Likes

Placements are very good so it is the best thing that i liked.
Cultural fest is very good here, last year darshan raval came here to perform
Coding culture is one of the best thing over here.

Dislikes

Campus size is small, so campus life is not that well.
Very hectic schedule, back to back examinations.
Boys hostel is outside the main campus, it has to be inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

In 4th year companies start visiting for campus placements. Many companies have visited like google, microsoft, zomato, sprinkler, Atlassian, etc. We have around 92% placement here. Highest package was 1.4 crore last year which was off campus. If we will talk about on campus then 82.5 lakh which was given by Atlassian. I am also planning to have job after degree as of now.

IIITA - a review

Likes

The coding culture and overall academic exploration a student can take part in.
Beautiful campus with a lot of plant-life .
Good hostels with ample space and cleanliness as opposed to other colleges.

Dislikes

Extracurriculars are not up to the mark as compared to other institutes.
Academics can get rough and difficult at times
Lack of sports facilities and equipment when needed.

Placement Experience:

Placement season begins in 4th year and IIITA boasts some of the best Average and Median Package out of Engineering colleges in our country with a huge 34 LPA average package in the 2022-23 season. 99% of eligible students are placed in a variety of companies.

I liked placements, affordable fee and other scholarship benefits.
I liked the campus fests like Effervescence.
I liked various societies students can join.

Dislikes

I didn't like the rigid academics curriculum.
I didn't like the non uniformity among students.
I didn't like how there's no one to regulate faculty powers.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin during the final year of college. Placements are fairly good here. Numerous companies visit the campus and the hiring is done. Till last year, for Btech, there has been 100 percent placements.

From the 5th 6th semester students begin to find internship opportunities. Placements are provided from the 3rd year, avg package of 2022 was around 30 lacs, there is a high percentage of students who get placed in decent companies

What is your review of IIIT Allahabad (Amethi Campus)?

IIIT Amethi is situated near a village named Tikarmafi, 10 km away from Amethi. It has its own perks. Here are some factors about the institute.

Academics:

Both IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Amethi have the same curriculum and professors. Because of that, professors visit the Amethi campus on a daily basis.
As almost everything is similar for both campuses, the exams are also conducted parallelly in both of them, making them at par for things related to academics.

Placements:

Students of IIIT Amethi are shifted to the campus of IIIT Allahabad after their 4th year, securing them placements similar to the Allahabad campus.
Needless to say, IIIT Allahabad does come with good placements. IIIT Amethi also enjoys the same privilege as placement is same for both the institutes.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

This is exactly where you can set the contrast between the two campuses. IIIT Amethi lacks good infrastructure. It is a very compressed campus with only two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel.
There had not been any sports facilities in the institute before. But at present, it has standard Basketball courts, a Badminton court, TT tables and a playground for cricket.
The labs and libraries are minuscule too. It can hardly support the strength.
Besides, you might also not find any up-to-the-mark food items around the campus, but just snacks to keep the day going.
There’s an option to take a bus ride to visit a town nearby, Sultanpur, which helps in a way to let students escape from the everyday life at Amethi, and rather spend time in that area, or buy decent food.

IIIT Amethi does have its fair share of disadvantages but it offers good placement in top-notch MNCs such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe, etc. Also, the pros outweigh the con for IIIT Amethi.
