- The faculty is very helpful and active, with great professionalism, the way of teaching is very understandable if any doubts, they are always available to clear it without any problem.
- Infrastructure is so awesome the views at the campus are the best and you will fall in love with each and every corner of campus
- Also i liked the placements of the college that they provide the placements to the students in best companies and for the good job role as well.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are pathetic fungus in washroom mess too far away food is not upto the mark cost : 120000/ annum faculty is not quite responsive facilities not provided as promised everything is delayed
- The hostel mess food is also not good for the students
- The classes are held at different locations which really make us tired as we have to walk a lot to take another class

- The best is that college has a tunnel that connects to the newly built campus which is equipped with labs and therefore we don't have to cross the gate every single time.
- Facilities to learn includes a central library and we also have one departmental library too.
- For a holistic development the university has numerous societies and one came easily join them and be a part of elite clubs and all.
Dislikes
- The area in which the college is located is too far from the airport and the railway station.

Placement Experience:
Plans for placements start in the 6th semester and students had to send in their CVs to the T&P department. They notify us as soon as the placement requirement comes and once it's there, we all get to sit for as many companies until we have an offer letter in our hand.

- Glorifying college should start with its immaculate infrastructure.
- Buildings are colossal and classrooms are technically the most sound one will ever see.
- I have witnessed the best ever crowd as students from entire region of the country and off late many African students too have joined GEU for studies.
Dislikes
- Definitely the poor performance of the societies which is seen during interview collegiate fests.

Placement Experience:
Many international conglomerate have now partnered with GEU. This has made things quite easy and placements cell should be credited for that. The skil sets and the communication skills required to garner jobs in global conglomerate like Cognizant, Adobe and others are taught to us right from the second semester. The average is around 8 lakhs or so but some genulius students have managed to gets placements worth 50+ lakhs.

- GEU has best landscapes not just inside the campus but around it too.
- Classes are always full as students don't come here for classes due to strict attendance but because we all enjoy the classes.
- Placements in GEU in recent past have surpassed many top established universities of North like the Thapar and the Chandigarh University.

- The area Clement town has become too crowded and therefore the locality of the college always have noise issues.

IBM, Microsoft, Adobe from global tech giants and TCS, Tech Mahindra and Infosys from domestic IT leaders are the topmost companies for placements at GEU. Students are placed in the fifth semester itself and those who are left the college arranged a mass placement drive and makes sure that maximum studnets of the college have an offer letter.

- GEU is no less than a bollywood set as it's so scenic that one can capture image from any corner and can easily boast that we are at a movie set.
- Placements in last three years or so have sky rocketed with a student of our branch managed to get a job worth 84 lakhs.
- The university has multiple boys and girls hostels and a seperate hostel for NRI students too.
Dislikes
- Canteen food is pathetic but it well maintained though.

We get our training programs started from the end semester of 1st year. So, training is done for 2 years and then we can sit for placements after getting a nod from the placement cell. Highest package of 2024 was 54.08 lakhs and it was given to none other than a student of CSE branch. NVIDIA, Google, Mindtree and all the leaders in IT space and even companies like Deloitte took away 20+ students with an average package of 8-10 lakhs.

- The campus overall as it so well structured and organized that one can easily find admin office to classrooms even if they are visiting the campus for the first time.
- Some industrial labs have been set up recently as the curriculum now is industry influenced at GEU.
- So many good joints close to the campus and all of them so affordable that students will never gave much burden on their pocket.

- Not many societies and clubs at GEU are active which ideally they should be.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Well firstly it's the demand supply case and then I saw the students with top packages, all are from CSE branch and that was more than enough for me. Our curriculum has a lot of influence straight from the industries of our space. Time to time industrial people come for guest lectures and letting us know what skill sets and what all is required currently. IT is a sector where uncertainties hang but we our course teaches us all to find the way out.

- Classrooms and infrastructure is something that liked the most and also the campus.
- Boys to girls ratio in my course was also good so that opened doors for a good environment
- Bus facility was just 1250.rs per semester so was affordable.
Dislikes
- Too much pressure to students by the teachers.
- Not so good placements as the holding says on the streets.
- Too many useless assignments and work which was a waste of time.
Placement Experience:
From 4th year students are eligible for the placements.
Companies like coforge, sopra steria, jman, zscaler , etc. visited and made several offers.
Average package is 4lpa. Highest was around 40lpa.
Around 60% make it to placements.
I am also placed in tcs prime profile by giving tcs nqt exam. It was offcampus placement.

- College environment, there is lot of greenery in the campus.
- Our annual fest also known as GRAFEST is the most awaiting moment.
- The faculties are very supportive and helping.
Dislikes
- The tuition fee is little high it could be the burden for students of the lower-income background but you can avail various scholarship that are provided by our college.
Placement Experience:
The average package of our college is about 5-6 LPA and the highest package till now is 84 LPA offered by Atlassian, we used to get various opportunities on campus to sit for placements. If we talk about the placement cell of our college they all are very supportive and active in providing us with opportunities. Companies like Accenture, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Amazon, etc used to come on-campus to hire students with hefty packages.

The course character in terms of reverence and comprehensiveness is good nothing to be worry the college atmosphere is also very good one can easily survive and one can easily live also the faculties are also good

- students of CS/IT including teachers are serious towards studies, each and everything , they think lack in their students they work upon it and add them for juniors and for us as well.
- Teachers are supportive , They are always ready to help you , it can be anything that becomes an obstacle in your learning .
Dislikes
- Attendance: they are pretty serious about students maintaining 75% attandance along with good scores and good placement preps which becomes tiresome
- campus life : college seems quiet small for a huge crowd like in grafests and other events
- Medical Facilities: poor medical facilities are available for hostellers , in hostels which are not incampus , they don't even keep a paracetamol in advance for students
Placement Experience:
To be really honest , after recession things are not easy as they were befire there is al lot of competition , times are gone when companies were happy with you solving basic conceptual questions now they want a skilled coder who doesn;t face any difficulty learning anything , basically companies need a robot , in such conditions to students of Graphic era are getting placed in good companies like JP Morgan , Goldman Sachs , Amazon etc.

What is your review of Graphic Era University?

Here is a brief review of Graphic Era University.
- The college infrastructure is average. The sports facilities are not good.
- The faculties have good educational backgrounds. But most of the faculty members don’t put in the required effort.
- The hostel accommodation is decent. The food offered at the mess is decent.
- The CS department has good placement records. Around 80% of students get placed from this branch. The average CTC offered at the institute is INR 5 LPA. But for other branches, placement chances are less than 20%.
- Graphic Era charges huge fees. A BTech degree costs around INR INR 13.32 Lakhs.
Overall, Graphic Era University is average at best.
