- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Placement Experience:
You're eligible for campus placement in last year of your college and you'll get on campus internship opportunities in the 2nd last year of your degree. There are 100+ companies visiting every year for placement. Average package is 20 laks and highest package goes to 2cr+ per annum. 90%+ students get placed .

Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is related to the mechanical core ,which fascinated me . Thus course give practical knowledge of machine and machining processes. New courses could be included which give basic knowledge of other branches. Exams are held twice in a single semester.

- Campus provides us a vast network in every ongoing and developing field.
- It's technical and social clubs activities. Provide us the on hand technical experience.
- Faculty and high quality course which provides us the path to grow in our choosen field.
Dislikes
- Mess food quality and the room space they gave us.
- Attendance criteria which is 75 percent . If a person wants to pursue his skills in another field than this 75% is really high .
- Academic pressure course gave us. They only focuses and judges on study and grading .
Placement Experience:
Placements are good here . Because of recession low paying jobs are very frequent which is a concern for IIT tag. From 7th semester student get eligible for placements. All big companies like Google, Microsoft etc plus our mechanical core companies comes every year. Highest package gets upto 1.5cr and avg. is around 16lakhs. Around 80% students get placed every year . My plan is to get job in data science field

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is somewhat standard which is mostly followed in other iits. As I am a mechanical student, in the first semester we were taught course like communication skills, Psychology, mathematics, physics. Overall environment is very good and all teachers are quite helpful.

curriculam is outdated but I select this course based on my ranking.
curriculam includes so much real world problems.
In course area they should do improvement like include new technology rather than using outdated syallabus

Placement Experience:
Form 6 semester students can apply for campus placement. there are many companies like national Zomato, swiggy, Adobe, Cisco, boat, etc and international companies like Microsoft, Google jp Morgan visit our college for placement . Highest package 2 crore and average 17lpa. 100 percent student are getting placement.

- Campus Life, is so good you go to class interact with different people from different place with bright minds.
- Greenery of campus is really so good. We love roaming around the campus.
- Sports facilities are so good every sports from swimming to hockey cricket football tennis everything.
Dislikes
- My course curriculum as it is very hectic for me as I m not interested in core field research.
- Double shared room in second year is the worst thing happened sadly for my batch onwards before this single rooms were given.
- The 3 month sem in my first year was worst thing.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements, which typically start from the seventh semester. However, our college has a stellar placement record, with top companies like Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs visiting campus and offering lucrative packages. The average package varies across departments but is generally high. As for me, I plan to explore internship opportunities to gain practical experience and enhance my employability before aiming for campus placements in the future.
The average package of college is around 18 lpa. Highest for CSE obviously.
And for my branch as most of students go for research is low but thos who get good placements. This year average is around 16lpa

college has Great punishment facilities the placements you are eligible for placements from 7 semester okay the number of company you company that came to our college or Google Microsoft Access instruments means literally every big company come to our college has packages around 2 crore and average package will be around 20 lacs around 80% of the student get place and after my degree I will do placements

Around 500 companies visited the college this time and all most all are placed who applied for the placements.
My plans is to get placement in the IT sector.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
