- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Dislikes
- No one thinks and just starts coding in their first year
- People do not exlplore their interests in the beginning.
- Academic Evaluation is very vague. Students grades differ by the difference of 1 to 2 marks.
Placement Experience:
The placements are quite good. Almost all the Computer Science students get placed. The placements in Metallurgy department are around 40 %. The average package of the camus is around 14 LPA. CSE students get higher packages.

- I like the campus.it is very beautiful and lots of trees .like it is worth it
- sports facilities of our campus is very good. like their is multiple courts for every sports.it also has a central gym and a gym in every hostels, swimming pool.
- placements and internship opportunities .our campus provides also trains us to get higher placements and opportunities .
Dislikes
- like the hostel are old and it required some renovations.
- the weather is very extreme .like it takes a lot of time to adapt the weather her
- Roorkee is in the outskirts of uttarakhand , so it is kind of isolated from the main cities
Placement Experience:
campus placment of our college is very good,like more than 90% of students get oncampus placment with an average of approx 18 lakhs.after completing 7 sem placment companies starts their palcement procedure in the campus.
highest package offered in our college is about 2.1 cr.
my plan after gettting the degree is to opt for mtech.then i will go for the cororate sector or any startup

Placement Experience:
Students in there final year of there respective course is eligible for college placement .Lots offer are offered during campus placement. If i talk about mechanical engineering almost 120 students are placed and the placement session is still going on

- Coding culture of IIT roorkee is very good but is also disadvantage for someone who dont want to do IT related job but due to peer pressure he do.
- Extra circular activities of IIT roorkee are too good . like one can do anything he like to do in cultural or sport activity . he can follow his passion of doing anything.
- Club culture of IIT roorkee is very good . Many societies are formed with many like minded people guided by the concerned professors. like if someone want to do AI ML he can join the club .
Dislikes
- Academic system of IITR is not going advanced with the time like even today they teach us Engineering drawing like we have advanced machine so no need to do this.
- 75 % Mandatory attendence system is not good because many students don't learn in the class rather that they can study by themselve so 75 % attendence should not be there.
- Sending CGPA to parents is also not a good system like if a student is following his passion and so cant to get good marks and they send grades to home , parents forced him to focus only on academics This can also leads him to DEPRESSION
Placement Experience:
Like my course is 4 years and students start getting on-campus internship opportunities in their pre-final year.
They can also do off-campus internships in their 2nd year but prefers on-campus opportunities
many Companies of IT like Microsoft, google, and Graviton visit campus for hiring and they give decent packages and are also open for all students like if you are a circuital branch then surely you can a decent package if you do a little bit of hard work during your degree
The highest package gone last year was around 2.5 cr offered to 4 CSE students and the average package of my branch is about 15 lakh per year
For mechanical engineering total of 110 students placed out of 150 branch strenght .
My plans are after degree are at a bit of government job side like UPSC due to family reasons

Placements is vary with no. Of branches companies visited like Google ;Wipro;JP Morgan;many Pharma companies.99percent of students get placed .after degree I want to go in reasearch area . highest package of last year is 2 cr .after 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements.

the campus placemens are good having around average package of 25LPA for the Electrical Engineering offered by Major recruiters included Accenture JApan, Bajaj, Flipkart,Tata, Google,Microsoft, Qualcomm India, Texas, American Express.
for 2023 the highest CTC stood at INR 1.3 Cr and highest International Package 1.06CR.

I got much marks in Chemistry and I also have affection with Chemistry , My courses prepare me for real chemistry world where I see the reaction ,UV lab etc. how they work and also learn me good time management.Institute should give opprunity to reasearch.The exam occurs in our college regurlarly
like in every 1-2 months. The level of exam is diificulty.

- Freedom and safety is very nice, anyone can walk any side of the campus at anytime

From 7th semester they are eligible for campus placements
Google, Microsoft, Axxela, fractle and many more. No of offers are very good but I don't have the exact no.
2.15 Crore (to a CSE student) is the highest package and average package is 1000000
60% on campus placement rest of the students get off campus placemnet based on their skills

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
