- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Course deal with electrical aspect including analog, digital, power electronics and Machine aspect.These include theory and practical knowledge on regular basis Two exam in one semester includes mid term and end term.

Placement Experience:
In3rd year you are eligible for internship and when you are in 4th year you become eligible for campus placements . There are around 200+ companies visit our college and have total offer of around 1000 .

- Campus life is very good and we enjoy each and every moment.
- Placement is very good as compared to other institutions.
- There are relevant courses which are helping us in future.
Dislikes
- Academic is bit tough to study. Students are facing problems.
- The students who are from lower middle classes face difficulty in paying fee
- The sex ratio is very less in IITs. Exactly 1/4th of the strength.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very good and relevant for the future studies.
The curriculum prepares us for real life problems solution.
Exams are conducted two times once in mid of the semester and the final in the end of the semester.

- As I am in IIT so i don't think there is any think for dislike because iit is known for there best opportunity in any era

placement of iit roorkee are good mostly 80% student place get a well payed job and for upcomig year student get problem to get a well payed job due daoun fall in market ther are many compny visit iit for student.

- Best thing i liked is beauty of campus and environment of study.
Dislikes
- One thing I did. not like is that most of the student are not going for their core branches rather all are going for coding jobs
Placement Experience:
There is high percentage of campus placement. You get a internship opportunity in 3rd year and eligible for campus placement in 4th year. more than 200 companies visit and more than 1000 offers made. highest package always crosses 1+ Cr and average package is around 20+ lakhs. more than 90% students get placed.

- Campus has one of the most beautiful scenery.The main building , VK , the library all of them are very beautiful
- The Computers that are in labs , they are very high end pc and we are allowed to do our work , as if they are our own
- Safety, people here are very nice , you can leave you laptop in library for days , and no one will take it. Also there are lots of guards in the campus
Dislikes
- Too many fests ,they don't let us focus in academics
- System of branch change in 1st sem , it gives a lot of pressure
- The food overall is not so good,it has very low spice
Placement Experience:
Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents .
From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews.
Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa
Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements.
My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

- Greenary and campus view is just super in iit roorkee.
- iit roorkee has got the highest internet lan supply in India. It is around 900 - 1000 Mbpss
- The building is just amazing. The old and perfect architecture
Dislikes
- This iit roorkee is the oldest college in India, the hostel rooms are not very good.
- iit roorkee campus is very small in size when compared to others
- Climate here in roorkee is very extreme in both summer and winter
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose mechanical engineering because that's what my rank can give me. I have no personal interest in taking mechanical engineering but I can get it in tier 1 iit which is very good.
I guess mechanical has a faculty of approx 40.
Qualification for the faculty is that you should have completed PhD and should had done innumerable projects.
Of course mechanical is one of the tough branch still you can pass in all of the exams provided you had studied for them.

- The location of the campus is very strategic and also the campus is very beautiful in itself.
- Safety measures inside the campus are remarkable and serves their purpose properly.
- Campus placements are very impressive as compared to other IIT'S.
Dislikes
- During cold weather, temperature reaches below 10 degree celsius which makes living really hard here sometimes.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible to apply for campus placements during their last year . Start-up culture is also really prominent in IIT-R which indeed increases employment as well as growth of students while still being in college .

- Clubs : There are many number of clubs here
- Schedule : The 5 days a week system enables us to learn and practice in the things we like

- Rooms : Rooms here are mot as good as they should be
- Mess : Mess food is not always good ,sometimes they reduce the quality

The placement scenario is good in IIT Roorkee and manby huge companies come for hiring students. Internships are also offered based on the skills of students and theirGrade points scored by them in the semester exams

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
