- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- I like the most that is the Thomson building here and it is a dream of millions of students across our country to come and live the dream of IIT and it has come true for me. The environment here is very good as it is near to Rishikesh and Haridwar.
- The seniors here are very helpful and supportive as well as the faculty . We can reach out to our seniors in any distressing situation or with any problem , they will surely help us out.
- The technical culture is very good here , there are many clubs in which we can learn new things and enhance our skills.
Dislikes
- Sometimes the mess food quality is very poor , that happens only rarely.
- The restriction on new students that you cannot leave your hostel after 8 pm.
- I dislike the humid environment of here as it is very annoying in the month of August and september, otherwise whole year weather is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose metallurgy course because I have interest in metallurgy and I wanted to come to IIT ROORKEE and it was only option for me at my rank.
The faculty Student ratio is good here On an average there are 12 faculties assigned per 80 students including the teaching Assistants.
The faculties here are well qualified most of them have done their Phd and higher studies from abroad and many of the teaching assistants have pursued their studies from the Premier institutes of our country that are IITs.
The exams conducted here are well organized and everything is defined before the start of the semester and the exams were not very diificult to pass .
If you want to fail then you will have to miss all classes and do not submit any assignment and don't study a word. hahaha.
I just want to tell if you study you will have good grades.
For the smooth conduct I thank our coordinators and deans.

- the people, the seniors here are very supportive and no ragging is involved, they are always ready to help the juniors in different domains
- the beauty of campus is as par as any other IIT campus, it's big and contains all our needs requirements and the greenery is beautiful
- the opportunities provided are immense and you get support by faculty and organisers to promote you in your respective interests
Dislikes
- The things I dislike is some people who are indulged in unfair practices which hampers my mind sometime
- the grading system of some professor is so disguised that it gets messed up and no transparency is provided to students
- the immense compitition present between students for the same things sometimes haunts the students and hinders them in going forward
Placement Experience:
at the start of the 4th year the placement period starts and companies comes to hire BTech students and basic criteria is CGPA and it's limit is set by companies itself
The exact no of companies varies every year but all the big companies comes to recruit no of offers made also varies based on no of students sitting for placements as some people also goes for higher studies
the highest package for last year was 2.16 CR internationally and the average package was 16 lakhs per annum for tech recruits
the percentage of students getting placed is always more than 90% out of the people sits in placement
my plans is to experience the corporate world for 1 year and then prepare for GATE examination

- The campus is very clean and green the atmosphere inside the campus gives the fresh vibes everytime the parks and the lawns are very well maintained and the main building or the thomson building looks like a tourist place to be true
- The course curriculum is also very good there is enough time you are getting to learn other skills apart from the technical skills that will help us to be expertised in particular field
- The IIT Roorkee campus is completely ragging free i would say the seniors are very good and supportive and the junior senior interaction is also very good my experience here in the campus is very good i would say
Dislikes
- There are very few things that i disliked in the college one of them is morning 8:00am class in the chilling winter seems like a nightmare
Course Curriculum Overview:
So first of all I've choosen this course coz chemical engineering is a branch which provide you a liberty to spend your time in the skills you want to learn or you are interested in as the course curriculum is not very hard so you can excell in other fields also the faculty student ratio is very good almost 1:1 that includes Profs ,Tas faculty are very well renowned in their field most profs have degree from very renowned foreign institutes. Now here comes the exam part our semester is divided into two parts mid term and end term so there will be two exam takes place the exams are not very tough however they seems to be difficult as in hostel rooms you will probably be not getting enough time for the preparation

Placement Experience:
Placements are superb in our college by focusing on the current placement season.There are companies with different domains to hire us.And the ctc is great as well.
there is 100% placemnt which is very surprising.

- I liked the sports facility in this campus because every sports have their own space.
- The clubs also have their own spaces in different places. The campus is so beautiful.
- Academics are easy if we work hard for it. Library is a good helping hand here.
Dislikes
- Lectures scheduled in the morning and also in the winter.
- The winter is hard to survive without 3 clothes in our body
- No much more dislikes for this beautiful campus. Beauty is enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because i was interested in chemistry and also my cutoffs were allowing me to choose this course. The cutoffs plays a important role in the entry to your favourite college. And also placements are good in this field so i preferred myself to choose this course.
About faculty and student ration in this prestigious institute is good enough. Most of the faculties has passed out from the best institutes of india and their teaching style is different from others. Sometimes it's difficult to understand what they are teaching but if we attend the class attentively we'll be able to take the benefits of the lectures. Till this time, all the exams were on time and about passing the exams, it all depends on the knowledge we got from the lectures and also how our batchmates are preparing because of the relative gradings.

- we have a good campus with many facilities
- the faculty here are very good we always learn something from them

- i think for me i dont dislke much about my college
- but for the sake of this form let me tell you that i dont like that it is far from my home
- also i dont like that outside the campus the city shops closes too fast , the students cannot enjoy the night life
Placement Experience:
the placements of our college are too good some placements offered are above 1 cr and overall the avg placement is above 20 lpa some of the companies that visit our campus are google microsoft adobe zepto apple meta

- Clubs are great. I am in fine arts and Music Section in cult clubs.
- And in ticks, I am in robotic Section and it’s really great
Dislikes
- The ratio of girls and boys is really less here
- Some professors don’t have teaching ability. They know me very much.
- The course curriculum is more of a remembering and pacing on paper
Placement Experience:
This year ID Roorkee had its best campus placement. I guess 2.1,00,00,000s, Microsoft Amazon and many other companies come here to recruit average package is 21 lakhs. The percentage of students getting a place is about 90 to 95%, but this year it's it was less it was about 70 to 80% my plan after getting a degree to get a job and MLB or data science company.

- Best ROI U can invest less as fees is less and gain more
- DUAL Specilization- U can study diverse fields here and gain degree with two specilization
- 100 percent placements and more opportunities available as batch size is less

IIT is known for its Best ROI. Placements here are good and due to less batch size students are having more opportunities available. placements are 100 percent. if u want to know about the placement stats u can visit the Doms IIT Roorkee u will get all figures there.

- Campus, the main building named James Thomson building. L H C (Lecture Hall Complex), My own department, different playgrounds and open spaces.
- The college gives us freedom to do anything, even there no restriction for girls students also to visit outside the campus at any time.
- There are many buildings for different kinds of purposes like there is a wellness center for students, tinkering lab for ideas and innovation, And there are many more buildings.

- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
Placement Experience:
Placements are provided to student in the final year of their course. Internships are provided in the prefinal year of their course. Many big companies came to our campus like google, microlsoft, amazon, deollite, godrez. If a student Academy score is good and his skills are good then he/she will get definitely placement. Average placement of my branch is 10 lakh per year. Highest placement of my branch is 48 lpa last year and lower was 1 lpa, this data is for last year only. 90% of the students get placements and the remaing 10% go for M.arch or startup of their own. I am not open to discuss my plans after I get my degree. I am a little bit confused also I am a first year student.

There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
