- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Placement culture of our college is quite impressive average package depends on branch of students highest for computer science students.
Package also depends on quality of students, students from lower branches can also get good amount of package based on their talent
Average package of IIT'R in our branch is almost 1800000

- sports facility like gym and grounds are the very best in our collage i use them regularly and gain benefits from them
- library is a must go for anyone who comes to collage and the ambient climate of library is good for focused studies
- there are may good eatereis in collage ,so for afast food and gourmet food you dont have to go outside
Dislikes
- the rooms ofour hostels is pathetic and the wardens are especially non cooperative
Placement Experience:
Our collage boasts one fo the highest campus placements in india ,the placement cell of ur collage works very hard to make this happen and the results are commendable .But there is still scope of improvement .The placement for this year wasnt s good compared to past years but once in a time this situation prevails .

- The clubs culture as a lot of clubs of different things are there.
- The lush green campus and the freedom to move anywhere in the campus anytime. There are no intime and outtime in hostels in IITR
- The accses to labs to do any project of our interest.
Dislikes
- The acads are quite tough to handle with other activities
Placement Experience:
Campus Placements are far better in IITR than other colleges. Top companies like Microsoft, Google, Texas Instruments and a lot companis used to visit our campus and offer good placement opportunities. Average package of around 25-30 lacs are observed during the campus placements. Around 800-1000 students get placed every year out of a batch of 1300. Rest students who are interested in their own startup or other things dont go for placements.
Students of 4th year sit in placements. placement process start around September of every year and ends around february. Placemnet is overy on a positive side,. All serious students who had prepared for placements get placed somewhere. Some might not get there dream one, but they had a offer.

- Management here is not good. Old rooms and washrooms
Course Curriculum Overview:
The courses here are relevant. You will get all courses here related to core and trch both. In one semester two exams are conducted -mid term and end term. Classes are taken by using online and modern technologies.

- Overcompititive due to concentrated smart brains
- Getting grades is too difficult here especially in physics and circuital departments
- No city life around campus. Roorkee being no hifi city

- Things that I liked about the campus was it's beauty and the overall culture . Everyone is so helpful and kind . The professors are very knowledgeable
- A whole group dedicated to campus beauty named CCF
- All kinds of extra curricular activities present inside the campus . No one ever gets bored
Dislikes
- The mandatory attendance is one thing that I dislike
- The other thing that is dislike is rigidity in choosing courses
- We are forced to do even those courses which we are not interested in
Placement Experience:
Students' are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Number of offers made were around 990 and some major companies that visited were Accenture, Boston Consulting Group , Google ,Amazon , HUL , ITC , JLR etc .

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is very informative as well as vast. I found it to be interesting because of interest in that field. The curriculum is well designed and structured. I want to mention that the course structure is bit of old school which now has been updated.

- Campus focused on safety and security of the students and the fest organised by the college.
- It provides 24×7 open library for study and it provides the best study material
- Campus has a full facilities for students including hospital facility all types of doctors are available and we don't have to pay extra for the check-up
Dislikes
- Professor doesn't provide sample question for the preparations
- Maximum of 8 gp is provided after second examination including medical background which is the wrong grading policy according to me.
- Doesn't provide medical leave 75% attendance is compulsory for everyone.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have choose electronic and communication course because in the upcoming future this gives the highest job opportunities in our country as many semiconductor company are going to start in India.
My course makes me capable to execute my ideas to the real world it makes me aware of the things around us.
As teachers doesn't provide sample questions for practice so I would like this thing to get improved.
Within 2 months there is mid semester exam and after 2 months there is end sem exams and there is surprise quizes for every course during the class time

Civil consists of hydro engineering, geomagnetics, highway,water supply, structural engineering,solid mechanics.Lab practical on regular basis that adds value to our knowledge and help in practical application.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
