- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Almost every big company pays a visit to university, and the typical package ranges from 6 LPA to 1 Cr depending on the department and profile. College MBA has given a placement to the 95% in the previous year to all those who were eligible for the campus placement. Eligible for the campus placement and then interview was required. Companies like as Walmart, Adani, and Aditya Birla have visited my college. The highest annual salary is Rs. 24-11 lakh.

IIT Roorkee is one of the most popular engineering colleges in India and the college placement standards are very high. The packages that we receive during the college placement drive are awesome the highest salary offer of the college is around 1.05 CPA and the average salary offer is around 25 LPA. These offers determine the standard of the college. The placement committee members are fully experienced and they have very good industrial exposure which helps them to invite good companies.

Placement Experience:
IIT Roorkee is known for its excellent placement records and alumni careers. Not only the campus placements, the Pre-placement offers made to the students during their tenure of internship was drastic and remarkable. The highest package offered was 69.5 lakhs per annum while the average package was 20 Lakhs per annum. 265 companies booked the slot to conduct the campus interview. These companies included Jaguar Land rover, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Intel technology, Micron technology, Oracle, Qualcomm India, Cohesity, Codenation, Amazon, Alphonso, etc. Around 650 students were placed in some of the major tech companies globally. 11 students even bagged the offer from abroad with a package of 1 crore per annum. These recruiting companies were Microsoft, Google, and JP Morgan.

The recruiters who participated in the final campus recruitment were Amazon India Pvt ltd, ACME Telepower Ltd, Anand Automotive Ltd, Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd, Airbus Engineering Centre India, AIR Worldwide India Pvt. Ltd, Bharat Dynamics Ltd., etc. The highest salary package offered was Rs.60 LPA and average salaries of Rs.10 LPA were offered in our final placement program. In the summer placement, I got the average stipend of Rs. 78000.

More than 147 companies made 632 placement offers. 214 pre-placement offers were made to the students and the highest CTC went to Rs. 1.8 CPA (domestic). Highest International CTC was Rs. 2.15 CPA. Alphonso, Amazon, Analog Devices, AppDynamics India Pvt. Ltd., Bajaj Auto Ltd., Codenation, Cohesity, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Intel Technology Pvt. A total of 406 job offers were received by the students in my batch. Highest CTC of the year went to Rs. 69.5 LPA. A total of 265 recruiters visited the campus including Alphonso, Amazon, Analog Devices, AppDynamics India Pvt. Ltd., Bajaj Auto Ltd., Codenation, Cohesity, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Intel Technology Pvt. Ltd., Jaguar Land Rover, JPMorgan Chase & Co.. I prepared for the placements from the start and thus landed in a great company.

Placement Experience:
As being an IIT the placement of the college are superb and as per the standards of IIT. The college has a record of 100% placement. Architect Hafeez Contractor, C P Kukreja Associates, Shilpa Architects, DLF, Christopher Charles Benninger Architects are one of the top recruitment companies for B.Arch. The placement committee plays a very important role during the placement round of the campus. The placement committee is very supportive and totally guides us during every round of recruitment. The highest package was around 45 LPA and the average package was around 16 LPA.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
