Likes
- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Placement Experience:
The college has a tremendous placement record. The college provides 100% placement to its students. There are 3 phases of placement but students do not have to worry because the college placement committee helps and guides us throughout the placement process. The highest package for our batch went up to 65 LPA and the average package was around 18 LPA. Companies like Alphonso, Amazon, Analog Devices, AppDynamics India Pvt. Ltd., Bajaj Auto Ltd., Codenation, Cohesity, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Intel Technology Pvt. Ltd., Jaguar Land Rover, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Micron Technologies Operations India LLP, etc participated in the recruitment process of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:
There are in total four semesters in this master's degree. All the subjects in the course involve the latest practices used in the industry. The dissertation stage consumes a lot of time and hard work. Since the entire course is practical, our professors helped us well in the projects and solved each of our doubts in the class itself. They were extremely talented and well-educated in their fields

Placement Experience:
The highest CTC of 2022 went to Rs. 2.15 CPA which clearly describes the level and standard of an IIT. More than 100 companies participate in the placements every year. 13 students were offered pre-placement offers. Business Operations Associate, Consultant, Deputy Manager, Management Trainee, Project Manager, Associate Consultant, Business Analyst, Business Operation Associate Consultant were some of the roles offered.

There are three phases involved in the placement procedure. In the previous year, 437 offers were made by 35 companies which included 219 pre-placement offers. Placement Experience:
from the 4th semester, you are eligible for campus placement and the big companies like google amazon blueberry, Samsung etc are coming to the highest package is 2 crore from last year and the average package from the CSE branch is 30-35LPA. if google, amazon, and Flipkart big companies hire you then your package is very high. my plain after the degree is to a job in like google big company after 4-year start my own startup

We all know that IIT Roorkee is a popular brand in the field of education. The placement status of the college definitely lives up to the expectation of every student. Most of my batchmates received pre-placement during their internship program. Companies like HCL, Wipro, Airtel, KPMG, visited our campus around 65 companies visited our campus during the placement drive. The highest package was 18.95 LPA and the lowest was 10.66 LPA and I was able to get a decent package of 13.50 LPA.

Here, the placements are excellent. During my placement year, prestigious firms such as RBS, KPMG, Bristlecone, Vedanta, Infosys, HCL, MAZARS, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, Kelton Tech, TCS, and others came to recruit. Leading high-growth startups also offered sought-after positions like Product management. The average package offered to us was 14 lakhs and one even got a salary package as high as 18.7 lakhs by Deloitte.

Every year IIT Roorkee breaks its record,
Many chemical industry companies come for placement drive but most of the students get placed into IT companies
Placements for chemical engineering.
Avg - 10-12 lpa,
Highest - 30 lpa.

Placement Experience:
The campus placement is quite good here. This year a lot of students got a package of above 1 crore and while one got a package of above two crores. Till today a total 1138 placement and 448 intern offers are made by companies like google , Microsoft etc.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
