- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Considering, my branch i.e. electrical, most of the students are placed. And regarding other branches, placement is quite good. Many companies come to our college like Amazon, Flipkart, other tech-based companies, and some quant companies too.

Placement Experience:
As IIT colleges are famous for their placements and this college is ranked third in terms of placements. So, the placement quality cannot be questioned. Because the institution is the best engineering college in India, the university placement is up to far. The highest package offered in this college was Rs 1.67 crore per annum in the CSE branch. The average package is Rs 24 lakh per annum. The college has a track record of 100% selection in big companies. Among the top college, recruiters are google, amazon, microsite, Qualcomm, de show, etc. My plan after getting into this college is to serve as a software engineer in the big companies mentioned above.

Placement Experience:
Being an IIT all the big companies like Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc. come for recruitment here. The highest package is around 1.7 crore which is an international package and the average package is around 18 lakhs.
Almost 80 percent of the students are placed.
I would look for a job in a noncore field after getting a degree.

From the 7th semester, you are eligible for placements for UG candidates.
Some big companies like Amazon, Schlumberger, BCG, Uber, Adobe, and a hell lot of companies visit campus at the time of placement. No. of offers made was around 650.
Highest package- 2 Crore per annum
Average package- 15 lakhs per annum
around 85% of students get the rest of the placement to opt for higher studies and the remaining start startups and all.
Software engineer.

Placement Experience:
On campus internships start from the third year of B.Tech and placements start in the fourth year of the B.Tech. Placements at IIT Roorkee are far better than most other IITs and even if you don't get placed or are not in desired one, you have a plethora of opportunities off-campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because of my interest in chemistry in +2 courses.
The faculty ratio is around 19 students per professor.
Professors are well qualified and many of them are from litigious international institutes like one of my current semester prof. Had been studied at Princeton.
Teaching methodologies are quite not good as we learned in coaching institutes.
But yeah the material is enough tutorials and regular lab sessions are there to know your subjects thoroughly.
Exams are not so hard and not so easy.
But scoring a 7-pointer is so easy and for higher grades, you have to be fully prepared.

Actually, it's a fact, IITs are not about what you want, it's about what will you get, I took this course because of my rank.
The student's faculty ratio is pretty good, even though you will get enough time to explore and get exposure to the institute.

I chose this course because there is good placement in this course. The faculty is very good. All teachers are well-experienced and their teaching methods are awesome. Many teachers are from ISRO also. Exams are conducted on time. passing the exam is a little bit tough.

Most students get into UPSC preparation and some get admission to the MBA programs.
The percentage of students getting placement is high.

Course Curriculum Overview:
There are weekly or monthly quizzes. Apart from that, we have two main exams one is a mid-term examination and another ends term examination. and both of them are extremely hard but it is easy to pass because everyone in your batch is going to appear for the same exam so by relative grading you can score well.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
