- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

The only exam that I had to give was CAT but it was a hard nut to crack. As my score in CAT met the cut-off this college, I received a call letter on my e-mail as I have earlier applied over here. I had to also go through a personal interview round and then got a final admission. All my academic documents and financial documents were also verified.

Placement Experience:
IIT Guwahati placements 2022 concluded recently with an overall 73.20% placement rate. As per the latest report, over 180 recruiters participated in the placement process and successfully placed 910 students in various new-age job profiles. Further, the highest domestic and international packages offered to BTech and BDes students were INR 1.2 crore per annum and INR 72 LPA, respectively. Not only this, over 28 international offers and 179 PPOs were also offered to the students of BTech and BDes programs during the 2022 placement season. The top recruiters of IIT Guwahati in 2022 included Uber, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

For the entrance exam, I gave CAT, which was a really tough examination but due to my continuous hard work for two years, I managed to clear it with the required cut-off. After that, I received a call letter from the college and went for counseling. I also participated in the GD round. I cleared all the rounds and then all my academic transcripts like class 10th and 12th scorecards, graduation degrees, internship certificates, and financial documents were verified.

The placement opportunities offered by my university were really helpful. Some of the leading employers included Natwest, EY, Infosys, HCL, Cognizant, Jio, Ajio, IFCO, BNY Mellon, Deloitte, and United Spirits. The average packages offered to my graduates were around Rs.15,00,000.

Course Curriculum Overview:
My childhood dream was to work as an Engineer at Google which is why I decided to choose Computer Science Engineering Course.
The Course is of 4 years / 8 Semesters. The teachers and students Ratio here is 1:50.
and the teachers teaching here are highly qualified almost every teacher is a PhD holder in one or more Subjects of study
The exams are conducted twice a year and the difficulty is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:
talking about the qualifications of teachers there is no doubt that teachers are highly qualified here, most of them are done there graduation from IIT, ROORKEE and others are well qualified engineer's and severals of them done there Phd in there respective subject but the problem is their teaching method, there is almost zero interaction with students and mostly lectures are stuck to books. I choose Civil engineering due to my interest buildings, rivers, dams etc and also looking for government job opportunities. student ratio is uneven to the no. Of faculty i mean there is a one teacher for almost 80 students. There are around 600-700 students in my college. There are only semester exams no sessional's .

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
