Likes
- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

I was interested in learning the subject. Faculty are best they had a deep knowledge of their respective subject. And teaching skills of the faculty are outstanding. Most of the faculty are completely their Ph.D. from foreign universities.

Placement Experience:
There is a placement cell that contact companies to come and hire students and mist of the students get their jobs through campus placements.
There are different types of companies for different profiles. And about 150-200 companies come over each year.
I have plans for further studies.

Placement Experience:
The placement of my college is improving year by year. Last year in 2021, about 100% of the students were placed. Students in their 7th semester sit for placement whereas students in the 5th semester sit for internship. A large number of companies visit and in internship about 400 offers and in placement about 1000 offers are made. The highest package during placement was 215lpa and the average was 22lpa. I have got an internship in Microsoft and will be sitting for placement and working in MNC after my degree.

Placement Experience:
In 2nd last semester, students become eligible for placements. Many companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, de Shaw, codenation, media.jet visit the campus during placements.
More than 70 percent of students get their desired jobs. I plan to become a software engineer after finishing my degree.

There are a lot of opportunities here. One can make a career in any field he/she can think of. Almost companies from all sectors and domains come here for the placement.

Almost every student who sat in placements got placed .many companies visited like Google, Facebook, Hotstar, Ola, Amazon, Flipkart, graviton, uber, zomato, swiggy and many others MNC companies visited, last year highest package was 2.15 crore rupees.

Placement Experience:
In IIT ROORKEE placements are approx. 100%. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Adobe, Texas Instruments etc.
In 2021 there are 1200 offers made to 960 students with the highest package of 2.5 cr (CTC) international and 1.8cr in India with 11 students getting more than 1 crore package.
I am currently thinking of moving ahead with chemistry and doing a Ph.D. in it.

IIT ROORKEE had quite good placement offers. Almost 850 students get placed. If you will learn coding with your course you will get placed and also have a lot of opportunities for internships. If you can't get placed then you can also apply for of campus placement drive. Or you can go for higher studies.

Students become eligible for placements in the 3rd year. The college has a more than 95% placement record. many students get PPO (PRE-PLACEMENT) offer in their 3rd year. Almost all big companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and Amazon visit every year.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
