UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I have submitted the admission form online and registered through it and then I got the mail from UPES that have been selected for gd/pi in Lucknow city which was not very far from my home town, then I went there and given gd/pi and got selected.

College is overall good for petroleum and most of the cs branches but for some branches it is not able to provide proper guidance and placement opportunities. It's placements are very high as compared to other colleges.

Firstly there was a exam test . If you met the passing criteria you will be invited for the councling process . From there you can select your course , the preference will be given to better rankers for selecting the course till the seats left.

POSITIVE : The campus is lush green situated in the valley of Himalayan Mountain range and covered with green and beautiful area from all the sides where you can enjoy like you can in any hill station. Negative : The only limitation is that this campus is in forest 10 km from main highway and 20 km from city

Positive Remarks : The college ensures the holistic development of one's personality. Negative Remarks : The fee structure is highly expensive. The placement opportunities are good but not quality wise.

There is no proper way to communicate to the management. Everytime we roam to many people to convince our basic needs. There is no proper bridge between us and the office management. We can't expose most of our cases to the college management and we are comprised because of the irrelevant response.

The fee structure of our College is very poor. The fees is incresed by 10% every year that is not in the budget of everyone. There is no junior senior interaction. The food court is good but expensive in some cases.

Management is awesome. We have different portals for different situations that can come across.

The college is good for those who seriously want to learn. A good learner can extract the maximum out of the college. Location of the college provides a good environment to study. Fees being on the higher scale feels sometimes, but it can be put aside.

The college is in the middle of the hills of Dehradun. It is surrounded by nature and forests. The weather and vibes are always very pleasant here. The college overall is satisfactory as the fees they demand is higher than the services/ opportunities/facilities they provide.
