UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Positive: Situated in the best area of Dehradun, Weather, Infrastructure, Faculty, Placement, Collaborations are best in North-West. Do not hesitate to join UPES, Best Private Engineering College for all.

I got admission last year in August. I got admission through MAT. The college itself also conducted 1 exam known as UPES SAT. I opted for MBA in this college due to its various specialisation like MBA in oil and gas, Power management, Business analytics, International business and many more(Total 9-10 spec. ) I also opt for due to its good infrastructure and course curriculum, knowledge of faculty members. The admission process is through entrance exam followed by group discussion and personal interview.

From my point of the only negative point is that my college has a little shortage of parking for students as my college is in the hills. Talking about positive points we have proper security guards and a small hospital. Full campus is wifi enabled.

Infrastructure, Environment was very good. Faculty quality was very poor.

Good college there are some sort of changes i would like to suggest. Like there must be taken care of the students who wants to get there course completed. Otherwise the college is pretty good the whether and all stuffs.

I first filled the form for taking admission in UPES. Later I got a mail regarding my selection in the college and I attended a counselling to take my desired course. The counselling was an easy process and I got my desired branch, computer science. Later I came to know that there are several specialization as well in computer science. I selected business analytics and optimisation as my specialization.

Every college is judged in the basis if the placements and the current status of the college is very bad in this case because in every branch there is almost 150 number of students which makes it very difficult ti find the jobs for everyone.

College is really beautiful. It is situated in Dehradun with an amazing view of the mountains and greenery and atmosphere. Our college is among the top 20 beautiful campuses in Asia. Academics is great as well. The only negative thing I feel is the expensive fee structure.

The overall environment of the college is very pleasant. It is a ragging free zone, so there is absolutely no need to worry about it. A very beautiful location which will motivate you when you feel low. I loved the college.

Everything is good a very good infrastructure and with the pleasent environment and the good faculty and the subjects we have are very much up to date to the market trend placement is also very good only the fees are quiet higher.
