I liked teaching style of all teachers which was very good.
The fees is 100000 per year and for one semester it is 55000 and for second semester it is 45000 and the college provides many scholarship like nsp and many others scholarship yes there is also a campus placement opportunity
Campus is well and good tech festival and sports festival and cultural festival are held in a semester or in an year.extra curricular activities are often happens.

Dislikes

There is no sports ground in the college and no sports period
I dont like the various updates in ghe website of the university
I dont like the website during result time it lags too much .

My college experience

Likes

I like the environment, nature, faculties and the infrastructure.
Infrastructure are built top notch. There are several canteens for students.
The other thing I like is the fest that institute organizes.

Dislikes

There is less things to be disliked but the main thing I dislike is the danger of tigers and leopard at night

Placement Experience:

As I'm in 2nd ye I don't know much about the placement cell but I heard from the seniors that the placement ratio is good but only for those who devoted themselves to studies. The highest placement ever was like 1.1 CR and avg is 6L. The percentage of students getting placement is like 40%.My plans are giving CDS or GATE exam for higher studies.

Overall a great choice over many private institutions in Uttrakhand

Likes

Campus is situated in a Good location, surrounded by beautiful mountains.
Investment to return ratio is very good as many student are placed at 10LPA or above(If skilled).
The fee structure is very less as compared to other private institutes

Dislikes

No big companies come to campus for placement as the college is situated in a remote place.
Sports facilities are not that great as ground maintenance is not done regularly
You must have 75% attendance in orded to sit in exams

If U really want to be an engineer come to this college, If U just want a good college life then opt for other colleges

One of the things I like about this college is it location, Being a Photographer I love this place it's heaven
Another is it has the only team from north india which goes into SAE BAJA
If U want to grow this college will give U numerous opportunities

Again the location as this is in outskirts
Water supply literally the water supply is so so poor
Girls are not allowed to come outside the hostel after 6 PM

Actually the course has been decided by veer madhav singh bhandari technical university Dehradun, so on that no one can question the course is fine enough to create engineers. And for reallife problems we are provided with miini and major projects which is a part of syllabus.

The campus is situated among the foothills of Himalayas.
It is extremely peaceful and environment is very soothing
College is engaged in several events and awareness program

Dislikes

Since the college is situated in remote areas sometimes we face difficulty for basic necessities
College placements are not up to the mark.
Health care facilities are less accessible

Placement Experience:

Very less companies visit our college every year due to its remote location. So the placement is not upto the mark. Last year the performance of Mechanical engineering branch was pretty good in the area of placement.

Campus environment which is good for learning
Campus structure which is also good for travel in campus
College faculty and most important electrical department faculty is very nice

College placement are given by so many comany like BEL Infosys etcc and average placement of this college is 250000 and so many student also give very good placement in this college and college placement are good

The scenic beauty of the Himalayas from October to March.
Living in the peaceful environment and with heavenly features of hills.
A good boost to extracurricular activities

Dislikes

Fear of wild animals like leopard and monkeys
Water scarcity due to high altitude and cold weather
Availability of dumpyards are less in numbers.

My major was science and I was determined to do btwch. The curriculum prepares us for the real world by taking various laboratories such as network lab, machine kab and many more in electrical department.

Best part is you are studying at the place which is a hill station
Good sometimes and sometimes bad so its like average
Faculties are best you will get to learn from those who have studied in nit iit

Dislikes

Sometimes stormy weather and power cut problems . One thing more is girls are not allowed to visit at night because of leopards

Because i wanted to research and got lot of interest in this thats why. I feel labs can get more better as theh are and security level they are working on it . Exams are not that tough they ask normal questions in final paper

GBPIET, its an experience of a lifetime.

Likes

Environment is the biggest pro for sure.
Hostels are spacious, these include rooms with balconies and all the basic facilities like wifi because some areas have bad network coverage. No fans, though you won't be needing them much here.
Campus is beautiful, with good infrastructure.

Dislikes

Remote location far from any major city.
Temperatures can often reach single digits in winters, so not for people not used to cold .
You'll be on your own to get through, not much help from the faculty.

Placement Experience:

I have not graduated so can't explain the placement scenario, but the records are average, about 4-6 lacs for the most. The companies that visit include TCS, Wipro, BEL, etc. Highest package recently was about 97 lacs though its rare. I personally have plans for higher studies so I am preparing for GATE, and apply for other govt jobs.

Weather.. The weather in ghurdauri is quite pleasing for eyes and also coming from planes mountains feels like heaven...!!!! You know the aesthetic kind of weather that is what we have in our college..
Hostel and Mess fees is very affordable and also We have Wi-Fi services is our hostels
Good infrastructure when it comes to departments and some hostels as well.

Dislikes

Anything that are usual in cities are not present here for example No cinemas, no malls are nearby.
In some departments placements are very less.
Prices of food items are mostly not student friendly.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college varies from branch to branch. There are in campus placements in our college and companies do visit here but getting placement will solely depends on your skills. Companies like BEL visited here this time and mechanical engineering students got placements .

Infrastructure is not that developed according to the area we have
Here the clubs and society are very inactive they do not provide more exposure
Very strict internal marking .some professors are not that good and can't help us to solve are doubt rhat much

Placement Experience:

The placement of our colour is quite average the highest package this year was 5 lakh per year and 4 years back the highest package was 14 lakh per year . Lenskart , wipro and other companies also visited here. Almost 90% student's got placed. After graduation i want to do masters in technology
