But in government sector this branch has vast opportunity like in FSSAI, FCI, UPSC etc. Labs are very good and innovative which gives opportunity to each student to learn new technology like driving tractor to operate Drone. Exam are mid sem exam and end sem exam. 1 semester is of 6 months and each semester has two mid sem exam and end sem exam also except these there are various class tests and quizzes.

students become eligible for placement form their 4th year. in 3rd year we have internship season though. many top companies do visit our campus starting with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, bcg, Morgan Stanley etc. highest package goes to 2-3 CRS and avg will be around 30lpa

Generally from the third semester students are eligible for campus placements. Students with a good CGPA have the high chance of getting placed very easily with a very good package and after getting degree they can do whatever they want.

Well if you are skilled, the chances of placements are among highest compared to any other institute. Highest placement ranges in 1-2 crores while it also lowers upto 12-15 lakh per annum. Chances are fairly good you'd be placed if registered.

I choose mining engineering because I love this profession as it is composed of very interesting challanges everyday. curriculum covers almost everything that a students needs to learn and implement it in the field

The campus placement is offered by CDC. After completing 2 years you get to sit in CDC interviews for internships, all the top companies for example google, BCG, McKinskey, and may others visits the college. And after 7th semesters you get to sit for placements. The highest packages goes around 2Cr. You opt for any profile SDE, data, consulting, product. I plan to get placed in product management after my degree.

The placement of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is pretty good but it depends on which course you are pursuing, some course offers really good packages which some doesn't. We all know why CSE, MnC, ECE, EE are popular courses.

Students become eligible for campus placement in the fourth year. There are so many companies visiting every year and about 60-70 percent of students get placed as there are many students who pursue higher studies or prepare for government jobs. The highest package offered during the 2023-24 session was approximately 2 crores and the average package is 25 lacs. My plan after the degree is to sit for a quantitative finance placement.

Placements are good but you have to put a lot of efforts during the time of recession. Thus is the worst phase of the college life where you become stressed, selfish, and nervous. This is the tough scenario to get high packages.
