IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest IIT's. If you want to study in a college which has its own ecosystem and far away from cities then definitely go for kgp.here you will not find malls and City Life but a different natural pleasure altogether.

The library is the Asia's largest library present here. The whole library is under the cctv camera. And open all the days except national holidays upto 12 o'clock. But during exam it open 24*7 hours. All types of books are available in so many copies.

Jee Advanced. I gave entrance examination to enter in this college.This college is very strict about the admission process and only toppers got accepted in this college.Through Entrance exam marks, I come to the college and then get contacted with the Admission Cell.

College administration is always ready to help in anyway you want. Rules could easily be changed may it be academic you just need to have your valid point.Every voice is hears and every single student is helpful to each other doesn't matter they're unknown.

I took the exam called IIT JEE, I scored AIR 2416 and I did not intentionally go for this college rather I got this college after my counselling based the rank i secured. Also, I did not know anything about any particular degree at that point of time so i looked into the last year's (2008) rank book and saw what courses you can get in your rank and I decided to put all the courses based on their demand and thus I got Mechanical Engineering in IIT Kgp. There was no interview rather there were two 3 hours exams which I cleared and then after that there was no other exam.

This does not need any kind of remark , if you are getting into here you are very lucky you will explore yourself you will learn lot of things and will live best of 4 years of your life here,

Good college, great placement scenario, annual fest is at large level, good ccd and other food points. Huge campus , everything is good here
