GATE 73 Rank I opted because it is one of the premier Institute in India for higher study in the field of science (M Tech.) with getting scholarship.

IIT JEE (JEE advanced 2014), I got 2029 in AIR . I have very much interest in civil engineering and some people, seniors and my mentors suggest me to join iit kgp for this course.

I took PhD entrance test.

Took CAT, it is run by Central govt and highly reputed institute. Mainly because of brand value. IIT kgp has a great brand value and is a well-established institution across the world.

I gave IIT JEE entrance examination. I scored 215 out of 490. Although, all the IIT Colleges provide a platform where students get lots of opportunities to explore them-self with the full of support from academics as well as from the surrounding, IIT KGP has the best infrastructure among all the IITs. Hence, i decided to opt for IIT Kharagpur.

College management is excellent. There are 20 department which are well planned and managed. Head of department are very well educated and experienced

kharagpur city (out of college campus) is not so developed. but inside campus every thing is available.

Although the faculty in our college is quite good,it would be great if we could rope in many other good teachers and professors from other good institutions as well.

I had taken IIT-JEE 2012 and secured AIR-1257 (don't remember exactly but in 1200's) and I chose Chemical Engineering since I am very good at chemistry and thought may be Chemical Engineering is quite related to that stream.
