But, if we talk about scholarship then it's a bad news that there is no institute scholarship for unreserved students but u can get it for other organisations like nsp.
The hostel rooms are also not good enough and lack cleanliness sometimes and have broken chairs/ tables, etc. at times.
The academic workload can be sometimes demanding, not always but sometimes, leading to stress and pressure among students.

I took IIT JEE, my rank is 537. I have opted this college because it has lot of scope either in technology field or in research field which helps a student to become an perfect iitian.
The Good - They are very helpful and friendly and do their level best to make our stay here as pleasant as possible and have had very good interactions with them, and all the office work(bureaucratic stuff) is smooth and transparent and corruption-free.
The Bad - Could try to make our living conditions(hostel and mess) a little better though i understand it's the best with the amount we pay but still we won't mind if we have to pay a little extra for better living conditions.
I cleared JEE main exams. Then also scored above 75% on boards ie. 91% in the Maharashtra board HSC Exams then I got qualified for applying for JEE advanced in which I secured an All India rank and got selected for this college.
I took the IIT JEE to get into my college and I scored 235 marks in 2010 and secured an AIR of 3582. I wanted to join one of the old IITs and a take up a course that was related to Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering and hence I took Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture as it had courses from both these departments.

I have cleared PhD entrance examination conducted by IIT Kharagpur, I have selected via interview. As IIT is a institute of national importance I have chosen for my doctoral degree.
