I chose btech because I love to learn more about technology and all it is very interesting. The teaching method this college is very excellent and friendly teachers are there. It is the reason for the success of this college. The students can ask any doubt at any time teachers are there to clear the douts. This college conducts exams frequently and it is very difficult. These type of exams helps students veryuch in final exams. The college facility is very good for every students

Closer to my home. Reputed University. Affordable fee structure. Good course structure. Good faculty and laboratory. Small classroom. Good education. On the negative side management of the institution is poor, delay in getting stipend.

From the 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that come are Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The highest package reached on 2020 was approx 40LPA and the average package was 19LPA. Students getting placed are approx 90%. After getting degree I will appear for GATE and UPSC ESE from where I can be able to land a job in govt. Organizations or PSUs. I would also appear in examinations like ICRB for ISRO, RAC for DRDO and BARC exam

The placement scenerio has now improved in recent years in jadavpur university. In jadavpur university, all students are co-ordinated. When you talk about placements then yes RS 10 lakh per annum you get an average basis if you are good at everything, But in the year 2020 RS21lakh was the average package and higest goes upto RS58 lakh, Amazon , Google india , Gupshup , Microsoft and many more were recruiters

Students get to apply for placements in their 5th - 6th semester. Many opt for higher studies and some who will get placed are provided 100% placements. My plan is to definitely get placed. Placements in companies like Nestle, Taj group of hotels and hospitals, CocaCola, Birla group of companies and many other hospitals are achieved.

From the 5th sem companies start coming to campus, for internship and on the 7th sem for full time roles you can apply, though most of the companies are related to coding and all, they mostly restrict it to CSE, ECE, IT. The numbers of companies visited are going less year by year, more than 80% of CSE , IT guys gets placed every year in average 30% gets dream package, for other departments the numbers are really scarring.

Jadavpur University is a tier 1 engineering college with top-notch placements. A lot of companies from various sectors like IT/software/ finance/ consulting / analytics/ core etc do visit the campus during the placement drive. Almost 100% of students are placed in all the branches Some giants visiting the campus: Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, IBM, PWC, De shaw, salesforce, BHEL, IOCL, GAIL, Texas Instruments, India Power, CESC, Adobe, and many more. Generally, big IT/ Analytics firms do not discriminate between the branches and allow them to sit for their placements so you can get a job in any field that you would like if you develop an interest in it in your college tenure. It all depends on your knowledge and skills.

Campus placements in our college do not begin until a student completes their third year of the Bachelor's course in science dept. This course has a wide employability area. From food safety, and hygiene to nutrition and dietetics one can do a master's course or even a diploma in any of the fields related to food science, post bachelor's. One can become a dietician, nutritionist, food safety officer, diabetes educator and many more. I personally wish to become a clinical nutritionist monitoring patients with specific ailments, and delivering diets to recuperate the same. I also want to become a diabetes educator and pursue a B.Ed. course in Nutrition science.

After 5th semester you're eligible for placement. Zomato, uber, TCS, Wipro, Godrej companies visited here and made various offers for students. 3.20 LPA is average placement and it depends on your merit and performance for getting selected. 25% students get placed. After B.sc I would like to go for MBA.

Mostly all of the students get placed. In my batch the highest package was 15 LPA lowest 3.2. Average is 4/5 LPA. The companies that visit the college - TCS, CTS, INFOSYS, CAPGIMINI, TATA DIGITAL, TEXAS INSTRUMENTATIONS, INTERRA, RUDDER STACK etc. From semester five the placement starts. 98%of students get placed.
