The course curriculum varies for different semester. But the one thing that remains constant is that it gives special attengion to critical thinking and creative writing. We have to look at texts and writings from an analytical point of view which in turn increases our thinking skills. It enables us to learn about the writing formats of emails, term papers, abstracts which are very helpful for future academic pursuations. Although the curriculum is an almost perfect one, there is a serious lack of female autors and poets in our syllabus. As a department which actively promotes feminism and equality, more inclusive texts would much more welcomed. The exams conducted are not that frequent and are easy. This is because as a department we believe exams are not a sure way to evaluating our levels. It forces upon us a certain performance and strata of achievement. Many, under that pressure, fails to give their best. This way of thinking is much appreciated amongst us.

Placement are quite good in our university. More than 90% student placed in previous year. Students are eligible for internship from 3rd year means 5th semester and in 4th year means 7 semester they are eligible for campus placement. More than 190 company visit in every year. Some popular company like Google, Texas instrumental, pwc, gapshup, cognizant, Oracle, Salesforce, ZS, Paytm, Airbus, cesc, Vedanta, JSW and more. In this year highest package grab by a students is 1.4 crore. Average package offered by company is more or less than 12 lacs.

After 6th sem students can apply for college placements Many good companies visit our college including DESHAW,Schrodinger , Wells Fargo ,Texas Intruments highest in our branch is - 35 LPA highest in college- 1 CR (I.T. dept) Average -10 LPA Above 90% gets placed To get placed before getting degree

The placement of our college is very good in comparison to the other engineering colleges if India .It provides an average package of approx 15-16 lakh per annum. It is very helpful for the students from the lower background (financially) .

The college offers good placement opportunities students are eligible for campus placement from the 8th semester. Mostly everyone who seats for placement gets placed in companies like godrej , pepperfry , etc. The average package ranges from 3-4 lpa and highest package is around 5-6 lpa. Many student like me who come from business background mostly join their business and flourish in their life.

My rating for the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is 10 out of 10. our university is giving best placement. all the students are placed after the course. I mean to say 100% placement

From 7th semester students are eligible for placement session and for internship from 4th semester they are eligible. The companies visited to give placement : in the field of coding companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Siemens, Wells Fargo, Schrodinger, Airbus etc gives best CTCs. In this year highest package is 56 lpa in coding. In the field of core companies like Texas Instrumentation, Micron etc comes and gives best CTCs to students. In this year highest core package is 26 lpa. The percentage of students placed this year is 100% is also in the newspaper. The internship are also very good both off campus and on campus.

So for jobs and other opportunities, students usually have to take it in their stride and work hard to secure their future. Since after a master's in English you can go many different ways, it is basically up to you what you choose. Be it higher academia or corporate, the college faculty and placement cell are always ready to help you.

Placement is nice. Can be better. Not at par really with top 6 iits and bits. But it's still the best ROI. Doesn't charge 30lakhs unlike bits and 20lakhs like iits. Best college for higher studies. Good companies visit campus

The course entails every possible aspect of life sciences starting from molecular biology to bioanalytical techniques. Albeit, the theoretical aspect takes a front seat. One would expect to learn lab techniques but due to the limited time and high number of students hands on training isn't always possible. One would learn modern relevant topics like bioinformatics at least on a surface level.overall good structure but only if you are interested in a PhD and not an industrial job.
