The teachers the realy good . education quality is so good
This college is very much old , it established in 2004 , here many cultural programs like freshers, fest , rabindra jayanti and some medical programs occurs which help you to relax also become knowledgeable.
Location of my hostel is quite good avery thing is near

Dislikes

No annual or tech fest are organised.. so we get bored
Very monotonous also old concept ... no students association are there don't have any rights to say anything
Tuition costs: the high cost of tuition and student loans can be a significant source of stress and financial burden.

All about JGMCH

First of all I like the affordablity of this course , as it is very high for non government college but it is very very cheap for government
Our college has a boy: girls ratio of 3:2 which is quite good
The best part is the social respect that we get..yes, we have burden of responsibility but the respect is very pleasant

Dislikes

Our college is new , so the instrument and infrastructure is not fully completed
This course is very hectic.. it's carries a lot of mental pressure
Placement is given by government, but currently last 3 years there is no placements, so it's a big concern

I joined it because it is most safe course for career and also respective..the communication with real world is very high..the placement structure should improve and number of doctors should increase.. difficulty level should maintain to maintain the quality of students entering

MBBS - pros and cons

Likes

The campus is good. Hostel is also present inside the campus only. So it is easy to travel from hostel to college.
The quality of the infrastructure is good.
This is a professional course degree. The course curriculum is relevant.

Dislikes

There's a lot to study in MBBS. It doesn't fall under dislikes but yes, we've to study a lot.
There are a lot of exams. So students are often under pressure. But this is manageable.
There's nothing to dislike about the course as per my opinion except that there's a very huge syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is a professional degree course. We become doctors after completing MBBS. So, yes this course curriculum is relevant. The course curriculum also includes clinical postings and internship in the final year. In first year, the frequency of exam was high. Each subject exam is of 100 marks and timing is 3 hrs. Exams are difficult as syllabus is huge to cover.

An insight into Jhargram GMCH

Firstly I would like to say that I loved the location of the college. it is surrounded by lush green forests and environment is very neat and clean. The campus is huge one and it has many space for recreation
Secondly, the faculties are great here. They mostly come from the other colleges of Kolkata and many old peripheral colleges of W.B . The infrastructure is new and quite advanced equipped with all modern amenities that is helpful for the students.
Thirdly, the staffs in the College premises and hostel premises are very polite and soft towards the students

Dislikes

Since the infrastructure is new so there is a lack of few labs and instruments for practicals
As the hospital is not inside the college premises so students have to get a cycle to get there or have to use local transport methods
More super speciality departments need to be opened in the hospital

Placement Experience:

Obviously, employment in medical line is obviously a big job with a handsome salary..but to get that amount it takes immense amount of time to reach that calibre to get that high paying amount. No doubt it's a good course but the money making process is a bit competitive here

My college life

I like the infrastructure of my college campus .It is newly built and beautiful. Provides all basic amenities like hygienic food, clean drinking water
I like the teaching staffs of my college. Professor here are really helpful and open for any meritorious discussion .As a hosteller they help us with personal problems
As boys and girls hostel are close by we share a good bond with almost all our batchmates with a boy with a boy to girl ratio 3:2 . We engage ourselves in different co curricular activities apart from studies as well.

Dislikes

As our college is a new open, the building is still under construction.
Some department are short of professor which is a major issue
We are the 1st batch of this college so we are deprived of seniors

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is a Nobel cause and the curriculum made me see through it. They teach us attitude,etichs and communication which is very important in MBBS. The course can be more effective if it can improve its teaching methods . Exam take place after every 3 month and the difficulty is quite high.

As we are the first batch , we are the super senior of this college
Our campus is under construction and all boys girls roaming around college, the people of surroundings area are too good and helpful
The teaching methods and faculties are too good

Dislikes

Our college have lack of many things in lab
The placement of doctor is not done now a days through out the state
The distance between hospital and college is more

Placement Experience:

After completion of 4.5 y of studying, we do internship. During our internship we get 27-30 k of money. Then according to our performance though out the mbbs course , we get a college for doing housestuff ship

JGMCH : A new beginning.

This college has great infrastructure with spacious ac classrooms, a 6 storey academic building with 3 galleries and a huge library. All the amenities for lab work and cadavers are present in ample amount.
our interaction with the teaching faculty and availability of hospital staff gives us a great opportunity to learn. The college goes well with the new curriculum.
As the first batch, our patient and professional interaction is quite high which gives us insights to learn at the root level. Our college conducts seminars and workshops and takes us for local tours to rural areas for better insight of health system

Dislikes

The super speciality hospital building is at a distance from the academic building which leads to time consumption and the hygiene of hospital building is questionable.
As the college is newly developed the interaction with other colleges and their seminars and workshops as few which leads to lesser information inflow and reduced social interaction.
As the campus hasn't been fully developed yet there is no field in campus for sports or auditorium for organising events in campus that leads to reduced personal growth

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this curriculum based on my interest for studying the human body and the respect given in the society for this profession. MBBS curriculum with new NMC guidelines has helped me enter into solving real-world problems from the very first day of college working on the cadaver and then interaction with patients in the 2nd yr. As of now India has advanced quite a lot in terms of medicine but availability of new technology and medical equipments in all hospitals has become a necessity that needs to be fulfilled. The frequency of exams according to me is quite appropriate with an exam every 3 months and the difficulty is quite moderate and clinical based helping us solve real life problems that is a great initiative and helps me learn better.

All about a Medical College

Likes

The faculties are too humble no force for attending lectures
Our annual fest his too grand and convocation ceremony is also too good
The beauty of nature and the overwhelming weather of north bengal

Dislikes

Ragging culture,threat culture, dayscholer hosteler discrimination
Very boring lectures with least interaction
Classes are very short duration and most of the time is holiday

Course Curriculum Overview:

The new competency based meducal curriculum is too good step of nmc.Every thing is divided per semester wise and topic wise.Clinical related questions are top most choise.Early clinical exposure and family adoption are prety good inocative.

I like the faculty of the college...they are well educated and well experienced
I like the classrooms of my collage..the are way big and ventilated

I dislike the administration department of the college
The food of the canteen we almost everyone disliked
We disliked the timings of the classes..

My courses called allied health science so in this course we are help the doctors to diagnose different diseases by testing several samples we are the allies of the doctors to recover the patients from complex diseases I choose the course to help the humans to give them a better life

Reasons I hate HIHS

Likes

Help and assisting nature of the non-teaching staff.
Absolutely active and friendly teaching staff.
Sufficient practical classes makes everything easy to learn.

Dislikes

The college is located near the Haldia Dock and other industrial factories which makes the atmosphere slightly polluted.
No canteen for the boys. Although there's a canteen for the girls.
The boys' hostel is almost 1 Km away from the college.

Placement Experience:

Students of BMLT have to do a duty from 3rd Semester and gets fully ready from 6th Semester. Many hospital of Kolkata and Medinipur. Highest average package is 3,60,000/year. Almost 60-70% of the students get placement after degree.
