Among all the lucritive prospects the institute offers the ones which intrigued me the most was the academic discipline maintained here for a better output and the student driven approach towards all the activities on and off campus. The Roles offered according the placement reports were lucritive too and formed a part of my decision.

The college provided Better Exposures than other B - Schools.
The location was a major advantage. Ranchi being a Capital City of Jharkhand provide better proximity to the companies.
Ranchi having an airport made an impact as the connectivity was not a problem.

Remarks:
IIM Ranchi has cemented its place as the fastest growing second generation IIM in the country. The faculty is brilliant, course pedagogy followed is Harvard Business School based case study method and the ratio of in class teaching to assignments is 1:2. Focus is more on peer learning. The diverse academic background helps in peer learning.

IIM Ranchi is the best b-school among the new IIMs. The college has a record of 100% placement for both summer internship and final placement for many years. Hundreds of recruiters including globally renowned companies including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Flipkart, and Ernst & Young.

IIM Ranchi is one of the top 20 B-School of India and ranked top in new IIM. After going through the pedagogy, mentorship of IIM Calcutta, recruiters, clubs and committees, quality of faculty I decided to join the college to achieve my future goals along with learning.

IIM Ranchi moto of Bahumukhvikaso gantavya resonated with my personal beliefs and ideals. I believe in sustainable growth and development so that along with us, the People of India and the country should also grow and prosper. Over the years, IIM Ranchi has outperformed its fellow new IIMs and has shown continuous growth. In NIRF rankings IIM, Ranchi was able to improve its position from 28th rank (2019) to 20th rank (2020) this in itself generated much confidence in me, and I wanted to part of their growth story.

Indian Institute of Ranchi is the leading institute among all the new and tier two institutes. IIM Ranchi has constantly improved its ranking and provided top class managers in the past. I wanted to pursue MBA and IIM tag is an important factor.

How good are the placements in IIM Ranchi?

During the MBA placements season at IIM Ranchi in 2022, the highest and average packages offered were INR 42 LPA and INR 16.62 LPA, respectively. A total of 77 companies visited the campus for recruitment, with 21 specifically visiting for MBA HR placements. The highest and average packages offered during MBA HR placements were INR 32.21 LPA and INR 15.63 LPA, respectively.
Top recruiters included Amazon, Ernst & Young, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Thomson Reuters, KPMG, IBM, Deloitte, Flipkart, PeopleStrong, Sony Pictures, Samsung, Aditya Birla Group, L&T, GAIL, ONGC, Michael Page, Cadila Pharmaceuticals. The top sectors for recruitment were finance, operations, strategy and consulting, IT analytics, sales, and marketing.
