Placements being one of the reason, but not the only. IIM Ranchi focuses on the hollistic development of every students which is quite evident through all of their student clubs. Apart from this, the faculties are highly qualified and very friendly.

I chose IIM Ranchi because it's among the top 20 B-schools in the country and the values which it strives to embed in its students - Hardwork, Honesty and Humility is something which I liked most. These values are something which a students carries his whole life and it helps them to achieve success in their respective fields. The culture is very different and helps one grow in all aspects. The placements are good and the grooming is commendable.

IIM Ranchi has been terrific in terms of Faculties,location and corporate environment. IIM Ranchi has been consistent with the placements over the years and has astounding current average of 15.11lpa. Some top recruiters include JPMC, ICICI Bank, HSBC Bank, Asian Paints and much more. Different Clubs and Committees further helps students to enhance their skill set and make the transition of to the corporate world smoother.

IIM Ranchi is the best among new IIM's. The competition for getting into the college is immense and since it crossed 10 years in 2020, it will only grow exponentially now onwards. With a great reputation in the industry, relatively low batch strength and excellent teaching methods the college is a sure winner. It will soon be considered one among the old IIM's and will give a tough competition to them.

The rank of the college based on the reviews of the alumni about its curriculum and placement rates. Also one of the very important factors was the location that is nearby my hometown. The college service is phenomenal and among the new IIMs, IIM ranchi is the leading and one of the fastest growing B-schools.

Ranked topmost in the newer IIMs, consistent placements, diversity, affordable fee structure, teaching methodology & pedagogy, top-notch faculty for all the courses - especially Marketing, college culture & student-driven extracurricular activities, lavish hostel facilities. Overall a perfect place for holistic development in an MBA program.

How good are the placements in IIM Ranchi?

During the MBA placements season at IIM Ranchi in 2022, the highest and average packages offered were INR 42 LPA and INR 16.62 LPA, respectively. A total of 77 companies visited the campus for recruitment, with 21 specifically visiting for MBA HR placements. The highest and average packages offered during MBA HR placements were INR 32.21 LPA and INR 15.63 LPA, respectively.
Top recruiters included Amazon, Ernst & Young, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Thomson Reuters, KPMG, IBM, Deloitte, Flipkart, PeopleStrong, Sony Pictures, Samsung, Aditya Birla Group, L&T, GAIL, ONGC, Michael Page, Cadila Pharmaceuticals. The top sectors for recruitment were finance, operations, strategy and consulting, IT analytics, sales, and marketing.
