IIM Ranchi is a fast-growing new iims among the tier 2 iims. Also, I am inclined towards marketing so that gives the best option to choose IIM Ranchi. Moreover, the strategic location of the college is very acceptable for placements. Ranchi's location is best suited for the growth of the holistic growth of the students as they can have wider access to the industrial area of Ranchi.

I have chosen this college because it is fastest growing new IIM,also it is near to my home. Before joining this college,i got admission in 8 others iims but from start i have in mind always that i will join ranchi only.

It has been 10 years of existence of IIM Ranchi. This year it featured as the 20th top MBA college according to NIRF Rankings. The college has a stellar placement record and state of the art faculty. Additionally the vast array of clubs, committees, SIG and independent bodies add to the academic excellence.

The exposure that IIM Ranchi provides is at par with other top bschools of the country. Besides,the faculty here is top notch. Also the placements provided are among the best in the country. The campus life of IIM ranchi is a what one looks for in a bschool campus- fun and fruitful.

Because of the brand IIM and also the placements opportunity at IIM Ranchi is quite good. How good are the placements in IIM Ranchi?

During the MBA placements season at IIM Ranchi in 2022, the highest and average packages offered were INR 42 LPA and INR 16.62 LPA, respectively. A total of 77 companies visited the campus for recruitment, with 21 specifically visiting for MBA HR placements. The highest and average packages offered during MBA HR placements were INR 32.21 LPA and INR 15.63 LPA, respectively.
Top recruiters included Amazon, Ernst & Young, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Thomson Reuters, KPMG, IBM, Deloitte, Flipkart, PeopleStrong, Sony Pictures, Samsung, Aditya Birla Group, L&T, GAIL, ONGC, Michael Page, Cadila Pharmaceuticals. The top sectors for recruitment were finance, operations, strategy and consulting, IT analytics, sales, and marketing.
