Placement opportunities: the college is known to have a good placement record, with students securing placements in reputed companies.
They teach in a very good way and they help us to gain knowledge.
I chose amritha vishwa vidyapeetham because of its great atmosphere and the amazing scenery given from the mountains and the amazing faculty and infrastructure given at amritha, coimbatore and more accessible to me to go from every day

Dislikes

Hostel is also the worst, no attach bathrooms and bathrooms are also worst bad quality no maintenance.no a/c
The placement system from the last year is bad and they're blaming it on the recession
I chose this course because i like the course minimum qualification is mtech depending on the semester courses it is very difficult to pass the exams questions papers are very tough and we should work very hard during exams.

Likes

Campus greenery is good i liked it very much.
Camus teachers are good they are taking care.
Campus food is good than i expected its good.

Dislikes

Small campus that what i hate it is still under construction.
The route to college is very hard not exactly in chennai.
College has a dress code that I personally hate.

I like cse course and the ratio is nearly 1:9. The teachers are taking good care and their explanations are very good many experienced faculty and the exams happen once in 2 months and it is easy to pass.

My college life

Likes

I like the discipline they force students to learn and follow.
Campus environment is peaceful without any noise pollution and traffic from outside
Faculties are really well educated and their language skills are great.

Dislikes

I hate the strictness they follow by forcing students to follow school rules.
The location of campus is a great drawback.
Faculties dont interact a lot with students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course as I got myself interested and excited after hearing about it. Robotics is the future's scope. And I am good at programming and coding which is helpful for automation. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30. All faculty members are from top universities and most of them have done Ph.D. The teaching method is all smart and digital. No books and notes. But more strict like schools. The evaluation system is also strict and there is no transparency. It is difficult to score good grades.

The thing i liked most in this college is the faculty , they teach us well and if you ask them any doubts the way they interact with people is pretty awesome
The next thing i like is the way this college encourages the students who are intrested in sports and make them play over other colleges
the other thing i like in this college is its envirounmet there are many plants in the campus which makes us feel releived when we feel depressed

Dislikes

The main thing i dislike in this college is it's food system in the hostel mess The students from tamilnadu can adjust to this food but as for the students from other state they will face difficulty in adjusting to this type of food
The other thing i dislike in this college is it is placed at a location where we have to trvel nearly an hour to go to the nearby town to watch a movie or to go for an outing
there is one other thing i dislike about this college it is the wardens of this hostel , some wardens are multilingual where as some know only tamil which make the other state people difficult to communicate with them

Placement Experience:

The students will be eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The companies that visited our campus are Google, Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package of this year is around 2000000. The average package of this year is around 900000. The percentage of students who got placed is around 90%. I plan to Join a named company so that I can increase my knowledge and get a good job.

Likes

The teaching is good. And the academics will be nice
The techfests will be more helpful for knowledge improvement.
The cultural will be more relaxation for students

Dislikes

The mess food will be worst and management will not change after complaining.
The campus will be far away from the city.
The transport will be very difficult even the public transport will get troubled.

Course Curriculum Overview:

CSE is a core subject that can be helpful to software-related jobs. The faculties are post-graduated from top colleges. The curriculum is like credits-wise. There will be internals and externals in internals we have 1 mid-exam and quiz, assignments, capstone projects, and lab exams for externals are like final exams.

Likes

I liked the greenary and the hostel rooms are good.
Teachers are so soft takes good care and gives tips for us.
The food in mess was pretty good and canteen food is excellent.

Dislikes

Campus is so small it is still growing .
It is still growing so not many fests are happening.
It has uniform to wear that I disliked the idea.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I like CSE that's why I chose this course. Approx 1:8 is the faculty-student ratio. Most teachers are experienced and take care of everyone. Delivering the content perfectly. But some are okay. The term exams are happening once in 2 months. The exams were quite logical and easy if we studied exactly what they taught in our class.

The food in our college is very much healthy and I like it so much.
The hostel are the other things or palace which I love and it such a peaceful campus and greenery which is spread over many acres in Chennai.
The whether and the atmosphere in the surrounding of of my College.

Dislikes

The thing that I don't like the musqitoes in nearby the hostel.
Bathing water is not so good as some of my friends are getting rashes.
The mess is some what far from my class room and hostel room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is on par with IITs and NITs. They follow the same curriculum for all the campuses of the Amrita located in different palaces in India. The faculty and students ratio may be around 2:5. The faculties are very highly qualified and educated. The exams are conducted strictly according to the timetable and it's difficult to pass if you missed any class.

Good encouragement on my skills and gym also will be nice and timings are also our convienient timings.
i liked the interaction with faculty they will be like freinds with us during classes.
Timing for college and everything will be like our convienient timings.

Dislikes

Food ,because it will be very good for north indians because they will not be any spice in food .
outing permissions,here we should get permission from class teacher,warden and parent this is even done in emergency situations also .
some faculty show partiality in internals between tamilians and andhra people

Course Curriculum Overview:

->Because this course is having more choices than other courses and we will have a basic knowledge in every course because here the teachers will teach every course which are there for AI and CYS and ECE .so i think taking CSE course is the best choice and we will have more opputunities for all types of exams, interns and jobs. ->it will be like 1:3 ratio there will be limited strength for each course. ->Teachers are highly qualified and having more than 20 years of experience. The method of their teaching also will be nice they will explain one problem and give exercise problems after every class. ->for every semister it takes 6 months time and it is not more difficult to pass.just work every day one hour and start preparation before one week of examination ,we will pass the exam easily.

Likes

course structure they use to teach us is very much good.
the students in campus are descent and bad habbots like other collegs.
ban of outside food like drinks etc and they are strictly prohibited.

Dislikes

no nonveg inside the campus but avaiable in canteen.
mess food is not that much good and night time only tiffins are avaliable mostly.
the campus is far away from city so transport facilities are not that much good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love and im intrested in computers so I have chosen this course. The faculty is student-friendly and coming to the ratio it is like 2:3. Maximum faculties are Ph.D. and some are highly educated and they are available to students at any time. Exams are counted very strictly and if you didn't study well it's hard to pass the exam.

Amrita nature is very good very pleasant.
It is ragging free campus over should fear of anything.

Dislikes

Hostel administration so much wost.putting seval rules.
Campus out system which was used by Amrita was not correct.

Placement Experience:

In AMRITA vishwa Vidyapeeth placements are not up to the mark which was told by passage of getting less than 9 to 10 lakh sufficient for them, so they decided to go broad the company visited your campus Google Microsoft Amazon TCS and many more 97% of students are place but my calculation not someone some person didn't 50% also not placed.

Amrita - In my view

Likes

Campus is too large enough to enjoy there
Education is well established and highly maintained staff

Dislikes

They provide only non AC rooms as the climate te cool
As a student it seems to be strict in academics and outings

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.

College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.

Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted.
