Placement opportunities: the college is known to have a good placement record, with students securing placements in reputed companies.
They teach in a very good way and they help us to gain knowledge.
I chose amritha vishwa vidyapeetham because of its great atmosphere and the amazing scenery given from the mountains and the amazing faculty and infrastructure given at amritha, coimbatore and more accessible to me to go from every day

Dislikes

Hostel is also the worst, no attach bathrooms and bathrooms are also worst bad quality no maintenance.no a/c
The placement system from the last year is bad and they're blaming it on the recession
I chose this course because i like the course minimum qualification is mtech depending on the semester courses it is very difficult to pass the exams questions papers are very tough and we should work very hard during exams.

Campus greenary and ampus appearance is good in Amrita vishwa vidyapeetham
Campus. Is surrounded by the full greenary and surrounded by green cultivation lands
I like placements process which is. Very good and centralized placements are provided for 5 campuses

Dislikes

The facilities provided by the colleage is not much good
The hostel facilities are not much good and food is not good
Hostel facilities are very bad individual bothrrokms are not provided

Placement Experience:

The placements in college are very good and are provided by the university from the 6th semester itself placements will start during graduation th there are almost 100 plus companies visited for placement during graduation and 10000 plus placements are given and the highest package in the university is 530000 and the average package is 750000 and the placements percentage is 95 percent and the plans after degree. Is may be joining in job or else doing an entrepreneur ship.

Likes

Greenery in the campus is maintained properly and quiet atmosphere is maintained.
Ragging is not done in the campus and the relation between juniors and seniors is proper.
All types of projects can be done and are encouraged by the faculty.

Dislikes

Hostel mess food is not up to the mark. It is often not mace and students are unable to eat.
Hostel infrastructure is not proper and the hostel building is not maintained properly.
Freedom for students is very restricted and are not allowed to go outside easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course of b.tech CSE engineering because of the future scope it offers and also the job opportunities it offers. The faculty-student ratio is average and it is maintained properly. It is better when compared to other colleges where the ratio is very low. the exams are conducted in a timely manner and all the faculties are well educated and mostly have a Ph.D. degree.

Likes

Experience received by hostel exposure for the first time.
Campus surroundings and greenery, nightime walks
Doing the course in which I am interested.

Dislikes

Tight schedule and timings of classes and labs.
The fact that we have to wear a uniform like a school kid.
A few people who only wish to have conflicts because that's the only thing they are good at.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Amazon, Bosch, etc, many offers had been made. The highest package offered is 56.75 LPA and the average package is almost 7 LPA. 95% of students get placed with the minimum package being 3LPA. My plans are to do a masters in India.

Nice atmosphere to study,nice and friendly faculty.
All students are treated equally ,nice way to make new friends.
Jobs offered in the placements and quality of study.

Dislikes

The food in the campus is not good ,it should be improved.
The quantity of food is provided very less.
They suddenly announce the exams dates and holidays.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good on this campus, the highest package in this University was 60lpa last year, from 6th sem we are eligible to attend the placements, companies visited Amrita are cap Gemini, Microsoft, caterpillar, Sysco, and Wipro, the average package is 8lpa,70 percentage of students in placements got jobs, as now in am in the second year my plan is to get a good job next year.

the nature here is so good and weather is peaceful
the campus is big and there is much to explore
the campus life is so good friends are very good

Dislikes

the food here is not upto the mark and not good quality
the pressure during examsis enormous here
there are many assignments and projects to do

The faculties are student friendly and the placements is good
Once you come to look the college , the college which located between the hills will not let you go
College offen conduct events and the the syllabus are updated frequently

Dislikes

The things which i dislike from the college is ,the student should were uniforms
The management should use any transport inside the college for student travel from one place to another easily like vit do
Management should give opportunities for day scholar in events more offen

Likes

I really love the campus.It is a very huge campus.
I personally like walking with my friends in the evenings.

Dislikes

The outpass system-We have only monthly twice day passes.
The entering time inside the hostel for girls are 8:30pm
Less number of cultural Fests and no AC in the hostels and classrooms

Placement Experience:

Placements are better as compared to other colleges.For CSE,Dept the placements are really amazing.Core companies take candidates from mostly CSE with a best package.Amirta has a special team called CIR(corporate industrial relations) team which helps the students to face interviews.They give proper training to clear aptitude tests.

Likes

I've liked the college infrastructure, the old buildings and the environment here in the college.
The college has lots of dense trees and peacocks can be seen roaming around in the college.

Dislikes

I'm not satisfied with the food they serve.
No online transactions make it difficult for students to purchase things they want.
There are no coaches for sports like tennis and badminton.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to attend placements right from their 6th semester. Companies like caterpillar, tata, Mahindra, Amazon, wipro vagaira visit the college for placements. The highest package is 56lpa. Around more than 85 percentage students get placed every year. I plan to go for a masters after my undergraduate.

The main thing we dislike is the food and mess quality
The other thing is the intime from outing which is 7 30 pm
The place where the college is located because it is located 2 hours away from the town

The placements of this campus is well the highest package we got this year is 1500000 and the average package we got is 900000 the companies that visited our campus are Microsoft ,wipro , infosys etc... Around 90 percent students are placed

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.

College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.

Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years.
