Placement opportunities: the college is known to have a good placement record, with students securing placements in reputed companies.
They teach in a very good way and they help us to gain knowledge.
I chose amritha vishwa vidyapeetham because of its great atmosphere and the amazing scenery given from the mountains and the amazing faculty and infrastructure given at amritha, coimbatore and more accessible to me to go from every day

Dislikes

Hostel is also the worst, no attach bathrooms and bathrooms are also worst bad quality no maintenance.no a/c
The placement system from the last year is bad and they're blaming it on the recession
I chose this course because i like the course minimum qualification is mtech depending on the semester courses it is very difficult to pass the exams questions papers are very tough and we should work very hard during exams.

i like that college place its like ooty.
mainly phone ar e allowed in my college.
faculties are best in my college and they are friendly with everyone.

Dislikes

its purely veg college ,chicken is not allowed.
my college is very big as well as it is inside from the coimbatore.
hostel is 1.5km away from college there is no sufficient time to reach college on that time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

because I am interested in computer science. That's why I took this course, the faculty is the best in my college minimum of 2 grades they have to finish. Exams will be very tough because this is deemed college.

Life at amrita

Likes

The Faculty is good they are friendly with us
The campus is very peaceful and you can live peacefully
The library here is so good there are many books

Dislikes

The food here is not up to the mark it is not good
It is very far from the city it is hard to travel
During summer the climatic conditions are very weird

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for placements. The highest package this year is around 45 lakh. Around 75 percent of students get placements. After getting a degree I plan on going for a MS outside of India

Genuine Review for my college

Likes

There is a nice Atmos to study, faculty are nice to talk
There is no difference between students here so all are treated equally
The way they admire spirituality is good as it gives mental peace

Dislikes

The food quality in the hostel is disappointed
The hostel may be good for the paid fee , cleaning is not proper
It is very far away from city , transport time is more

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is cce is a mixture of both communication subjects and computer science subjects, it is a multidisciplinary course, in this college 3/4th of the syllabus is communication subjects and 1/4th syllabus is computer science syllabus, for this branch there are about 20 main faculty and 15 assistant faculties, all the senior faculties are PhD holders, the first periodical test is conducted after one month, there are two periodical and one final exam, the exams are moderately hard, but the correction is very hard, if one wanted to score easy then we should score more marks in internals, means quiz, reports.

College application and review of Amrita University

Likes

Campus is kept clean with lots of greenery and also very peaceful atmosphere is maintained.
All the classrooms and labs are fully equipped with proper requirements.
Social life in the campus is pretty good and there is no ragging in campus.

Dislikes

Hostel is not maintained properly and the quality of the building is too bad.
The food served in the ness is not up to the mark .
Sometimes the food served is not even possible to keep in our mouth due to the bad taste.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for all the courses is very well designed and is on par with that of NITs and IITs as it was designed with those in mind. The faculty also seem to be skilled and almost 85% of the faculty hold PhDs.The faculty-student ratio is quite moderate and has proven to be quite sufficient. Exams are regularly conducted with two periodicals and one end-semester exam for most subjects and some subjects also require the student to do project work to showcase the knowledge received in the course

Likes

Great clubs and friend circles and cool places to hangout peacefully
Good laboratories along with qualified and supporting faculties for anyone to study

Dislikes

Food is major drawback. Very bad mess food it should be improved
Girls and boys restrictions are too much too conservative mentalities in this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose AI because I love the work being done in this field. We dont need a domain for AI to enter it is literally in every field. Where there is data and a problem there AI can be implemented seamlessly. The faculty here is great all of them well qualified and knowledgeable for this branch. Teaching is also great. All the faculty are PhD and research scholars perfect for this field.

The struggle of engineering Students.

Likes

Studies are good, faculty is also good, taking care of students
Having a nice faculty and doing their best work

Dislikes

Food is not good atleast they will not provide non veg food
There is a in time and out time when we go for outing
College is very far away from city we should travel atleast for 2hours

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement exams that are conducted by companies. The minimum cgpa should be 7.5. Some students will go to higher studies through the GRE and Tofel exams. We can write research papers that will be helpful to higher studies and placements as well.

campus feels good as it is surrounded by nature
proffesors help students in the academics regarding all aspects
good placements are provided by top companies like google, microsoft, JP Morgan

Dislikes

Food is the one of the cons in the amrita universities
they dont give outings easily they need prior approvals with valid reasons
it will be better if they include food items like non veg , soft drinks atleast in canteen.

Placements are provided in college by numerous companies that are visiting campus. Campus placements are centralized among all 5 Amrita B.Tech campuses. These placements are centralized by the department called CIR (Corporate Industry Relations). If you don't want campus placements you can do Higher Education abroad

Amrita My dream full fills here

Likes

The climate and weather and campus surroundings is very nice
The classrooms are very big and ventilated, i liked it very much
I liked the friendly cooperation from faculties to get cleared from doubts and to get knew about some new technologies

Dislikes

I didn't liked the hostel facilities here because of some unwanted restrictions.
The distance is very long from mess to hostel and the college
The food is not freshly prepared sometimes in the mess which is very difficult to eat

Placement Experience:

The Placements were very good in the previous year compared to this year. Last year almost all students got placed with decent packages. but in this year still, some students are struggling to get placed. Last year the highest lpa was 50 LPA, and AVG is 13 LPA. But this year it has decreased, the highest is 35LPA, the average is 9 lpa. After getting it am planning to go abroad for my PG

Campus is good, with lot of place for sports etc
Comparitivly less distractions and pleasent environment

Ciruculum is slow paced i guess, lot of unnecessary
No proper seniors guidance and lack of clarity
Lot of unnecessary restrictions and strict rules

The course curriculum is fine but I feel is a bit slow compared to other colleges. The faculties are good and regular. A lot of unnecessary topics are being taught which I feel. There will be 1 mentor for every 30 students

Friends are nice ,only vegetarian food in mess.

Dislikes

Food ,very bad ,very nasty , quality less.

I have chosen a CCE course, there are 47 students in the class, and for one month one period is conducted, and two periodicals are conducted. At last final exam is conducted, and exams are conducted very strictly.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.

College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.

Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years.
