College is a very good place for those who want to go for higher education. Lots coaching institute are available nearby. Lots opportunity available.

The placement scenario is above average in this college. Being located in a smart city, a good number of companies approach the college. A nice percentage of students get placed on-campus. A large number of students apply for off-campus as well. Big companies like Maruti Suzuki, Asian Paints, Arvind, etc. and mass companies like Accenture, TCS, etc. visit the campus. The average package for the college lies between ?3 lakh- ?10 lakh.

Dr.P.K.Patra is our principal who manage carefully to our college but there are many bad remarks like there is no A.C. classroom,power cut frequently,computers are not working properly etc.

CET is the best state government run technical institute of Odisha. It provides the push to achieve your goals and soothes you when you are down.Its a family you wish you had, a dream you wish never ends.Every college has some shortcomings and so does ours. Although it shines bright in academics and talent a little better upkeep of the college infrastructure would definitely help it sparkle and reach greater heights.

The college management has done its best in campus interviews. They called all prestigious companies and manged to get the 100% placement.

I appeared for Odisha JEE-2006 and got a rank of 283. I opted this college because of its good academic and placement records. Also this college is in the capital of Odisha.

I took JEE mains and secured 101 in JEE mains. And got a normalized rank of 76989 after addition of 12th board marks. I opted this college because it is best government college of our state.

Management should be decentralized i.e more powers should be given to the principal as this is a university constituent college.autonomous status for the college should be made as soon as possible.

I had appeared for IIT JEE(Lateral Entry) and secured rank 3 position in odisha.Since CET is a govt. college providing high end of education quality .I choosen CET for completing B.Tech in CSE.
