Field Immersion Program - USP of this collegeExcellent Faculty - From IIM A, B, C, ISB, XLRI & other top tier institutes. Also there are many faculties who worked in top Investment Banks, Consulting firms, FMCGs & so on.Admission process was very smooth, i got disconnected once during the interview but they waited till i joined back & the interview continued smoothlyThe only thing we lacked was a permanent campus but it has also been built & will start in October 2021

Two revolutionary years

Placement Experience:

The placements of college are good with quite a lot of big brands coming in the college .The prime domain of where maximum students are getting placed is consulting ,sales & marketing . Some companies which are regular recruiter are Deloitte,TVS,Bain&company,Musigma,Haldirams,V Guard,Bluestar etc. Total offers exceeded the number of stuents . The highets package was 40LPA and lowers package was 8.5 LPA. IIM nagpur has consistently achieved 100 percent placement since its inception.

Decoding life in IIM N

Remarks:

Location, pedagogy, professors, IIM Tag, Diversity in bastch and industry connect, past placement record were some of the factors for choosing the college. The bad was the course being new iim nagpur but it never negativily affected my decision in the retrospect.

Remarks:

I wanted an IIM to get into. IIM Nagpur offers the same level of pedigogy with peers who have 30 months of average work experience, highest in any IIM. The entire class was professional due to the Work experience and the placement average is also one of the best in the New IIMs.

IIM Nagpur is even new institute, it is located in center of India. High future opportunities, good connectivity and the rank of institute among new IIM is very good.Nagpur is surrounded by the industry hub, it is good for college to leverage the opportunity for conducting guest session and students and industry interaction, leads to learning from industry expert. Previous placement record is quite good, campus achieved 100% placement in summer as well as in Final placement, this is one of the reasons I selected this institute.I checked faculty profile and work experience on website, before deciding to join the college ultimately we learn from professors.

There is a dedicated placement committee taking care of the placement process of the students. This team works under the guidance of CDS. Placements had been 100% for both summer and final placements. Companies like Bain and Co., Crompton & Greaves, TVS Motors etc. visit the institute on a regular basis.

Placements are really great at IIM-N. The placement committee is a student-driven body under the CDS office. The companies are highly attracted by the talent pool of the college. IIM-N provides 100% placement to its students. This year, in these tough situations. IIM-N is the 4th IIM to complete its placements with an average package of 13.21 lakhs. When considering which MBA program to attend, it is important to not rely solely on hearsay and to research different options thoroughly. While it is true that many students at IIM Nagpur have work experience, this is not the case for all students. If an individual is not comfortable working with students who have work experience, it is suggested to explore other options, or even wait a year and take the CAT 2021 exam in the hopes of securing a spot in an even better IIM.

It's important to note that as a fresher, there are some challenges that one may face when studying among a large number of work-experienced students. These challenges could include being perceived as less experienced, having ideas and answers dismissed, or being passed over for leadership roles in group projects. This is why, it's essential to evaluate one's own comfort level, strengths, and weaknesses and decide accordingly. Furthermore, it's not a one-size-fits-all solution and different individuals may have different reasons to prefer one institute over the other.

IIM Nagpur is currently one of the fastest-growing institutes among the new IIMs and has been making significant efforts to increase its batch size, academic programs, and placement opportunities. This is evident in the strong placement statistics that the institute has been able to achieve. According to media reports, the 2021-23 batch of the flagship MBA program at IIM Nagpur successfully completed its placement drive, with the highest package offered to be INR 64 LPA, and the average and median packages standing at INR 16.74 LPA and INR 16.85 LPA, respectively.

Over 100 top companies participated in the placement drive, including well-known firms such as Microsoft, Adani, ICICI Bank, and Bank of America.
