8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

A short remembrance of my college life

Likes

the college was situated in an open area with nice surroundings
college is situated near to the railway station and bus stand.
our tutors were so helpful and they thought us each and every thing in the syllabus

Dislikes

the construction work of the college was pending
we were facing lack of laboratory facilities
programs conducted was in a minimum level only

The curriculum is very relevent in the field of studies, covering essential topics and skills required for real world applications. Teaching methods can be improved with incorporating additional interactive assesments such as group discussions, debates etc.

The students who eligible for placement at the 6th sem for computer science engineering there is lot of placement offers offered by the companies like Tata Maruti Suzuki Skoda Nissan Renault and better career guidance program has been conducted in college

Good college with good faculty

Likes

Great Faculty who had taken phd from IITs and NITs
Ragging free campus.The college is strictly against ragging
Good travel facility .It is only 5 km from railway station

Dislikes

Small campus so college life is not so great
Limited sports facility.We dont have our on football court we use nearby polytechnical college football court
College doesnt have a mens hostel, only have ladies hostel

Placement Experience:

Our college provides good placement. From Semester 7 students becomes eligible for campus placements. Recruiting companies are Larsen and toubro ,Infosys,TCS,Welspun Corp Ltd,Schneider Electric,Reliance Industries, UnoMinda Ltd etc The average package was 5 LPA and highest package was 7.5LPA on 2024.We got a total of 83 placement offer this year.Mechanical engineering department got 32 placement offer. A minimum of 40% student get placement every year.My plan after getting the degree is to get into L&T through college placement.

A review about federal institute of science and technology

Likes

College facilities are good have proper classroom which is cleaned in daily basis
The college washroom is clean and well maintained
The staffs are friendly even though there are some exceptions

Dislikes

The hostel food is boring they continue the menu for long time
The office staff are rude not everyone but there are some
The college is strict during the first year of study

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is very very good in the college , the placement officier works really hard day and night , schedule different types of placement training including mock interviews and many more If your in cs department there is a higher chance of getting placed For non cs students can also look in it field to work but the circuit companies coming to the campus is less compared to it

Good campus, good classes, hostel food is also nice
Has great facilities. We can have college life

Timing of the college that is from 9:30 to 4:30

My college provides quite good placements and a lot of the students of my college got placed at good companies like ibm There are also many other good companies with high packages that my college provides

There are placements in vimal Jyothi Engineering College.3rd year and 4th year students are eligible for attending placement . companies visited are Amazon, Infosys,etc... My plans after getting the degree are going abroad for jobs

The College of Engineering Attingal

Likes

The teachers and the faculty of our college is highly experienced and thorough with us.
The college has a very amiable and fresh nature enriching environment, with the our college ground in the centre of it
The college management and the seniors are very active in conductung programs which helps us to learn new skills and enjoy our college life

Dislikes

The college has a lot of students , but it does not have its own hostel
The college doesn't have it's own bus or transportation services therefore students have to stay at PG nearby
The college canteen is very small, which makes it uncomfortable for the coming students to eat their meals as it is very hot and tense inside

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer Science with AI and ML is a moderately tough course with science applications and 3D geometry. It is safe to say that you will fall behind. If you don't study and revise your materials everyday. The notes and homework with the teachers give should be strictly followed with and if it's not you will create alot of worries for exams and your future in this course

College is fun i guess

Likes

College campus areas were we can relax and sleep
Canteen area where we can have variety of snacks
Lab periods with many facilities that is much more fun than classes

Dislikes

Some faculties of our department some are good
Not having any proper celebration when i joinied but it changed from this year
So many assignments and works and have to complete note books and their submissions

Course Curriculum Overview:

Each of the faculties helps in gaining experience with mock interviews and the methods to study helpful notes. Internships and many other things .exam are conducted and they may or may not be difficult.

Why choosing royal college of engineering

Likes

Transport facilities from college... There are college buses for about 50 km
College infrastructure is quite satisfying for me
Some faculties are good in teaching methods.

Dislikes

College programs like arts and sports are not good
Some faculties are not pleasant during class hours
The exams are tough and valuation is strict.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The companies are not good, we can get experience from those companies. I would go for post graduation after completing my under graduation program.

From seventh semester onwards you are eligible for campus placement.But you must not be having any backlogs.companies which come here for placement includes L and T,IBM CIC ,G10X etc.Percentage of students getting placed depends upon the department you are choosing.
