IIIT Surat Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are good but there is a large decrease in placements because of campus shifts and the companies Now do not come from svnit which was the mentor institute. Oracle and Brain are major companies. The highest package is 42 lacs. And the average package is 12 lakhs. Placements are ongoing around 50% are currently placed. I will look for placements.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit in placement. 100+ companies visited past year but placement percentage has declined. 5-6 offer is made by each company. The highest package was 24 lpa in 2022 and 36 lla in 2023 (ongoing) and the lowest package was 6 lpa. The placement percentage last year was 54% but this year it has improved. My plan is to do the job for 5 years and then do business.

7-semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companies that visited our college are Oracle, Google TCS dot, and Networks. The highest package of 36 lpa and the average 11 lpa oe this year. My plan is to take campus placement after completing my degree.

The placement of our college is pretty good. The statistics can be found online. Students are eligible for campus placement when they start the 7th semester. Almost all students who opt for placement are placed during the campus placement drive

Students are eligible for placement after the 7th semester. 100+ companies have visited including big ones like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. The average package is 16 lpa while the highest is 46 LPA. 93% of CSE students got placed. I plan to do some jobs related to Web Development after I get the degree.

People are allowed for internships in their third year and placements in their fourth year. Students complete a summer internship with a company at the conclusion of their third year. The employer provides a PPO (pre-placement offer) upon completion of the internship. A lot of other options were available there for the exposure. The 6 LPA was average package and there companies were TATA, Wipro, tcs , etc.

IIIT Surat is the newest member of the IIIT family, and its placement is excellent by industry standards. The college placement advisory board is wholly accountable for our placement as the committee worked as a guiding force for all of us and helped us during every round of placement during the college placement drive. Our batch's highest package was around 38 LPA, and the average offer was around 9 LPA.

Campus placements have really been great up until this year. They were with NIT though and now we are getting separated so it will surely be impacted since our alumni are in good places/companies. Placements will not be affected drastically.

We are developing college so placements stats are not that good but since there are very less students almost max of us get placed with an average package of 8-10 lakes. From the end of the 6th semester, students get eligible for placement and companies start coming. Companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Microsoft, Accenture, etc visit the college so there are good chances of placement plus students apply off-campus too. Almost 60-70% of students eligible for placement get placed and that's a good stat for a new college. You can check the placement stats in college sit in detail.
