The JEE mains test is used to determine admission to this institution. I took JEE mains and got a good score, therefore I applied for JoSAA, and after clearing the cut-off, I was accepted into this college following counselling. This is one of the 20 colleges that have been established, and it is located near IIT and NIT. Under such organisations, there is a lot of opportunity and education.

I must mention that we welcome nice company throughout this epidemic, and the items that we received were like really good. Even under this scenario, the college was able to achieve a retention rate of 100 percent. The placement committee did an excellent job assisting us during the placement process. The top package was over 40 LPA, which was very incredible, and the average package was around 15 LPA.

The placement cell recorded the highest CTC of 34 lakh per annum and average CTC of 11.3 lakh per annum. More than 40 companies visited our campus and the total placement rate was 70%. Recruiters included Microsoft, Amazon, American express, code nation, etc.

There was nothing to expect from the college in terms of placement as the college has no past record and we are one of the part of first batch of the college. But we were confident enough because the teaching and education quality of the college is very good and because of it few of our batchmates received pre-placement offers. The highest package went up to around 40 LPA and the average package remained around 10 LPA.

In the 2020-2021 session, the maximum income offered by CSE is Rs 35 LPA, and the average compensation is Rs 10 LPA. Its placement campaign is going swimmingly during the session. The institute's placement programme is of national significance.

I must say that during this pandemic also the college has managed to invite good company and the packages that we receive were really very good. Even in this situation, the college was able to reach a 100% placement record. The placement committee has done a commendable job in helping us during the placement round. IIIT Surat is the new member of the IIIT family and the placement of IIIT is very good as per the industrial standard. The college placement committee played a very important role during the college placement drive as the college placement committee was able to invite good companies for placement and the college placement committee was fully responsible for our placement as the committee worked as the guiding force for us and helped us during every round of placement. The highest package for our batch was around 41 LPA and the average package was around 9.47 LPA.

The placement record of the college is good as we all know that the IIITs placement are well known and they are hot favourites of recuriters. IIIT Surat is a new member of the IIIT family and the placement committee works really very hard to attract a good number of companies. We will participate in the placement drive this year. So as per last year placement which was the first-ever placement drive of the college, 40+ companies visited our campus and 72% of CSE students and 63% of ECE students got placed. companies like Microsoft, Rubrik, Adobe, Amazon, Directi, Lowe’s, American Express, TCS, Deloitte etc took part in the placement drive. The highest package went up to 41 LPA which is an amazing offer for a student and for a college in its first-ever placement drive the average package went up to 9.47 LPA.

Admission in the program is based on JEE main score and counselling is conducted by JOSAA. General category cut off marks stand from 9199 to 18473.
