Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT), Surat was established in 2017 by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). It is funded by State Government and industry partners Gujarat Narmada Fertilizer Corporation (GNFC), Gujarat Informatics Limited (GIL) and Gujarat Gas Limited (GAL) under public-private partnership (PPP) model.Currently, IIIT Surat is operational from its temporary premises at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT). The permanent campus is in progress over a 50 acres land. As of now, the institute is offering admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech).

Basically, I was getting core branches in Many good Nits but I wanted to learn the trending subjects so I have to choose Ece/Cse which I was getting in IIITS. I have referred many college reviews before taking this college. The main reason before selecting this is the coding culture here which is exceptional. You will hardly find any student who is not doing well in any IT domain. The updated curriculum here is the key. because u have not to learn those subjects which r of no use in IT industry like Environmental, Chemistry nd all.

Students can apply for internships for 6 semesters and many students got PPO. Placement statistics are better and will be improved more in the coming years as in 2021 first batch is passed out. The average placement is about 9 lakh.

Firstly it mentored by SVNIT. Good culture of Student. Surat City is Very Good. Dumas Beach is about to 15 min(5 km) away from the campus. Hostels are very clean and good Condition. Campus is vey healthy.

The college life according to the internet is very good. The campus is shared by SVNIT and IIIT. So the teachers and facilities available are top of the line. The institute is located at the very centre of Surat which is also a very good thing.

IIIT surat is currently running in SVNIT surat campus and iiit students getting every facilities that svnit students get, and i was in search of only two branch CSE or ECE, and here i got ECE so i prefered it.

First thing was that the fees were affordable and the other is that IIIT Surat is mentored by SVNIT so i thought that the facilities might be good and the placementight also be good. And as it is of national importance now I hope it provides good opportunity in future.
