HPNLU Shimla Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements are not very lucrative only tier 3 law firms offer placements at HPNLU, companies such as SVS attorneys, optimus legal , SNG & partners , SNS legal , Mandala Law offices etc. No. of placements offered was around 10 in 2023. The highest package offered was INR 18LPA by Singh and Associates. The percentage of students getting placed every year by the univerity is very minimal ; 15% and average placement is offered t 5-8 LPA, But most students get placed by companies out of the campus and in their personal capacity. Out of campus placement is pretty high around; 55%.I plan to prepare and appear for judiciary examinations. I also would prefer working in corporate and law firms. As I explore further the path may begin to clear up more.

I chose the course because of my passion for law and social sciences. The faculty to student ratio has significantly improved now. The teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but all of them are learned and make their best efforts to give you knowledge. There are two term exams- mid sems and end sems. There is one assignment with viva for each subject per semester. The papers are mostly practical and enhance one's knowledge in text and practice.

Really into law (which is my major) and economics (which is my minor)B. 5 year degree instead of 6 as it is an integrated course

I wanted to pursue law from an NLU. I choose bballb because i did not want to take ba llb. Besides I want to do corporate law which for which BBA is more apt. Ballb do not provide much basic knowledge of the business at it is more of a liberal art subject.

College is ok ok. But weather of shimla is kike heaven

The university is at a good place and in good hands of the management who are hard working and quiet professional

The college helps in overall development of the student. The college provides quality education. all the faculty members are highly qualified and the students will face no problem inside the University campus. The university is still in its budding phase, but soon it will become one of those recognised universities in India.

The college is a new one. It was established just few years back in 2016 but soon it will be one of those highly recognised universities in India. They provide very good quality education with a very friendly environment in the campus.

CLAT is the national level entrance examination for law universities. So, HPNLU also takes admission through this. If you got good rank then you can apply for counselling at the university and get the seat.
