BASE university bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college consists of a seperate team which is mainly focused on placements. The students who are at the their final year are eligible for the placements. The main companies are RBI, government of Karnataka. 90% of the students are getting placed every year.

Placements are Quite Good in base University and are increasing every year average package is around 8 lakhs for the last year which is very good when you take into consideration that last year was the second batch to pass out from the college. Almost every student get the placement.

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.

Students are eligible for internships from their 4th year and placements from their 5th year of the integrated masters course (same as masters 1st and 2nd years). Since we are new, we are making connections with several top consultancy firms as well as NGOs and government agencies for internships with the same firms targeted for placements as well. No students placed yet so no details on packages or placements.

As I have already mentioned, college focuses on placements after the masters course. Since no masters students have graduated till now, we cannot comment on the placements. Internships are good though, the first batch of BSc economics went to places like Bosch, ABB, Statistical department of GOK, Toyota Motors, Karvy, Deshpande Foundation, among other places. Some of them have already got internships in reputed places like RBI, NABARD, PwC, IIT R, EY etc. This is a very good start considering that this is the first batch of this university doing masters. Many people aspire to go in the corporate sector. Some are interested in PhD and some for govt exams. The college tries to cater to all these three verticals.

The College is at its very beginning stage. It needs a lot of improvement. But it's approval of unitary university status by the Government of India itself tells us that the College is doing pretty well.

Through CUCET entrance exam and fill BASE application then on your score you get admission to college. The score in your 12 th grade must be minimum 70 percentage and compulsory 75 percentage in mathematics.

The college is very good and we are the future of this institution and also we have numerous opportunities here and here the students are from different parts of India and the negative remarks is that the teachers don't give marks as their is no prescribed text book we have to read numerous books for single exam.
