- I liked the courses offered here at ASU, I felt they were very relevant. I was very interested in environmental sciences, during my final year project, I was working on a research project that grew my interest in the field. Given the current climate crisis, water crisis, pollution etc I felt it's something I should study and know about.
- ASU has a lot of opportunities to grow and expand one's skill set in especially in specialized areas of study. The curriculum is designed in a way that helps students focus more on conceptual understanding and practical application as opposed to marks/grades being the focus. I personally feel soft skills like presentational skills, public speaking, technical writing, etc are also incorporated very well into the curriculum, contributing to holistic growth. There are abundant opportunities to get involved in research projects and professors are super helpful! There are regular career fairs, seminars, networking sessions, certification courses, and cultural events. It totally depends on your major, the courses offered, and the specific major's curriculum and requirements. But all in all, it's an amazing place to study!

- I honestly do not dislike anything about ASU. It has everything that makes it one of the best universities in the United States. There's flexibility in what courses you want to take, you can decide what your schedule is like, and you have a lot of freedom when it comes to academic.
I'd say it's very exciting, there's always something new to learn, something you've never done, and opportunities are plenty, There's a holistic development process that one goes through I guess, not only at the university but also otherwise, managing household stuff, managing your money and time. There's no one to do your stuff for you, so it really puts you to work!

- It has a very high acceptance rate so a large number of students get admission here which in some courses bring down the teacher to student ratio and also quality. Teacher could be better in some courses

- The biggest challenge for any student at Arizona State University is the location.
- Its situated 10 miles from Phoenix, Capital of Arizona. The place is very secluded with fewer houses and not a great community to reside in.
- Even the weather is very extreme, during summers its around 45-50 degree Celsius and during winters its near 0.
My overall experience at Arizona State University is great. From the moment I stepped on campus, I was impressed by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The faculty and staff were incredibly supportive and dedicated to helping students succeed. The curriculum was challenging and stimulating, and the variety of courses offered allowed me to explore my interests and expand my knowledge base. The campus itself is beautiful, with modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology. There were numerous opportunities for extracurricular activities, including clubs and organizations, community service, and sports teams.

- ASU is bit more expensive comparative to other universities. The main problem is temperature. It’s so hot at ASU in the months of June and July which is really hard for Indians to survive. I think these two are kinda drawbacks but rest all are good"

- The temperature in Tempe is quite high during the summers which makes it a little unbearable for some people. Also the on-campus living costs are quite high due to which students tend to find housing off-campus. As the batch size is quite high at ASU, it is highly competitive to get on-campus jobs, internships or full time offers.
My overall experience here at ASU has been amazing. The people, faculty and staff are very helpful and the courses that are being offered here are very practical and flexible. The facilities provided by the university are truly amazing and help us students excel in the field of our study.

- While Arizona State University offers many benefits, there are some areas that could be improved. For example, the university is known to be extremely expensive, making it difficult for some students to afford. Additionally, some students have expressed dissatisfaction with the teaching standards, citing a lack of individual attention from professors and an overall mediocre learning experience. Despite these challenges, many students continue to find success at ASU and appreciate the opportunities available to them.
Overall, the experience at Arizona State University is academically satisfying and comprehensive, with plenty of opportunities for research, internships, and career development. However, one area where the university could improve is in fostering greater diversity and inclusivity among its student body. Some students have expressed concern that people of different races tend to stick to their own groups and don't mingle as much as they could. Despite this challenge, many students still find the overall experience at ASU to be positive and fulfilling.
I got into the honors college, which is a top honors college in the U.S. I was also selected for the Grand challeneges scholars program, so these factors helped me choose ASU as my university. I was also getting a good scholarship.
It's providing nice depth in terms of specialized field of mechanical engineering. For instance, it has good curriculum for robotics and fluid dynamics classes in terms of mechanical engineering. There's nice curriculum for finite elements and HVAC as well!
It’s the US’s largest public research university with a ton of research opportunities and lot of resources.
