• As a first-year PhD student, I don’t have complete information, but from what I have observed, students who complete their PhD often get jobs in good companies, and some also pursue postdoctoral positions. I am still early in my program, so my knowledge is limited.

• We found accommodation using the university's off-campus housing site. Monthly rent for me is $1200 per month. It includes all facilities.

• A good number of students get full-time jobs within 6 months after finishing the course. Many students get roles because the biotech industry is strong, some apply for PHD and work as an RA till they get one.
• The salary range also depends on the role, but most students get decent entry-level pay in labs, research, biotech companies, or healthcare companies.
• We usually find jobs through internships, networking, career fairs, LinkedIn, and the JHU Career Center. Many seniors say that internships during the program help them get full-time offers.
• My batchmates have joined different biotech and pharma companies in roles like research assistant, lab tech, QA/QC, data analyst, and regulatory roles. Some well-known companies that hire JHU biotech students include places like Thermo Fisher, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer

• It is off-campus.
• My rent is 678 as it's split based on sq feet, it's 3200 for 4bed2bath. Well-equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and oven.
• The challenges I faced were finding roommates and making sure it's safe, as Baltimore is known as the crime city
• Speak with seniors for good advice and local house hunting
• It's around 0.8miles far

Placement is supported by career team but depends on student. No direct benefits. Students have to be strong willed and try to find jobs themselves.

I choose this for Locations and program curriculum, brand value, tuition fees, total cost. Very good experience considering education and training. Could improve on infrastructure and more placement activities.

Students usually get industry jobs or academic jobs after graduation. University organizes career fairs but students apply directly through job websites such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, etc. The starting salary in my field is 50,000$/year for industry jobs.

My overall experience was good. I got to work part time in 3 different labs at the university and gain knowledge of new skills and techniques used in research.

I am not aware of the much details, but mostly the placement is in Product management domain, Business analyst role in healthcare sector, energy sector.

The overall experience in the university is very good be it the campus infrastructure, the overall curriculum, the faculty.

We have regular job fairs where a lot of companies appear from time to time. The placement rate is quite high for on-campus job searches as well as outside. Ph.D. students often get excellent post-doc positions and jobs after graduation.

JHU is among the top 10 Universities in the world in chemistry, their chemistry program is very broad and versatile.

At JHU, there is no on-campus placement, however, students are given various platforms where they can apply for jobs through JHU. The college conducts monthly seminars and online events to prepare the students for interviews.

Johns Hopkins University is one of the top colleges in the world for biomedical sciences. Getting a master's degree from such a prestigious university will be an added asset to my career. It is very important to choose the right college for a specific area of study.

Pre-Medical Program and also the flexibility to take classes outside of the core curriculum with the need to only fill bucket requirements. Additionally, it's in the city so ease of access to various food and entertainment.

Primarily ranking, opportunities, major, discipline, professors, had a medical school. JHU has an extremely high # of students who get into medical school also. It also was one of the few schools that I got accepted into.

Job opportunities are great because we have such a strong reputation and alumni network. The pre-professional office offers resume services, advising for graduate school and programs tailored to career opportunities as early as freshman year.

The diversity of premed resources including a close hospital with ample undergraduate research opportunities, shadowing and clinical volunteering, and strong pre-professional advising experience getting people into medical school.
