  • From my batch, around 15-20% were well able to secure the job in six months. In my program students can expect to earn starting from $60000/yr.
  • First and foremost is networking, attending job fairs on campus and off campus. Using linkedin and optimizing it could help in a job hunt. Then comes the cold applying using different portals.
  • Since it was a PG program. There were students with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Students like these were able to secure a co-op and later on were made full-time.

  • I used facebook marketplace to find the accommodation. My monthly rent was $900, including utilities and wifi. HydroElectricity, gas and wifi, along with laundry (dryer and washer), a microwave, fridge and a little bit of furniture like a sofa, a tea table and a dining table.
  • Look for a place in the area of north york near by don mills subway station. That way students can easily access college and downtown toronto for part-time work.
  • My accommodation was around 5 km from college; however, it took 40 mins to 60 mins to reach there.

  • I am still hunting and applying for full time opportunities the course is ending in August and before it finish I am expecting to achieve something
  • We were suppose to do CoOp(Internship) within this last term but unfortunately a vast majority of students couldn't secure a CoOp opportunity including myself.

  • The retal cost can be estimated to be 600 to 900 CAD a month for Private room. I stayed with my friend so we shared a room and that costed me 450 including utilities

  • Approximately 8% of graduates secure full-time jobs within 6 months; most earn CAD 40k-60k annually, with salaries ranging from CAD 35k to over CAD 70k.
  • Students typically find jobs via career fairs, online portals, alumni networks and campus recruitment events. Even if anyone has a reference, they can schedule an interview for them.

  • I found my accommodation through online rental websites, local facebook groups and agents. The main challenges were intense competition and limited affordable options near campus. I recommend starting early and exploring multiple platforms for the best results, even Facebook Marketplace and community groups.

  • In my college there are opportunities , 80 to 90% people who graduated get placed in the first six months and get a nice salary package ranging from 50000$ to 80000$ annually.
  • Many students find their jobs from internship , few of them get through job portals , few get from their good networks build and rest from campus.
  • My batchmates have joined good companies like Google , Amazon , Delloitte and get placed at great roles, Microsoft and IBM also are some good recruiter companies which takes students at good pays.

  • I searched through an app called KIJIJI, my monthly rent was 500 canadian dollars.
  • Well the places are really hard to find, like we were not sure about the behaviour of landlords, how responsible they are, or how they gonna treat us, this thing is really challenging, and then finding the neat and clean room comes after that, this is the only was to look through online apps, it was 10 km away

  • Finding a full-time job after completing the course is a task that may take up to a year, depending on the individual.
  • Despite having a master's degree in chemistry, it took me a year to find a full-time job on the other hand few of my classmates got full-time jobs within 6 months as well so one has to look hard and follow the correct methods (like catering your resume according to job requirements).
  • Students usually find jobs from platforms like Indeed and Linkedin.
  • Students can earn from average of $20-30/ hour for full-time jobs for an entry-level position depending on the employer and one's skills.

  • Search methods - Marketplace, Kijiji, or friends.
  • Challenges - Be careful before moving into any place, as the environment of the house and the company you keep matters the most, especially when you are away from home.
  • Recommendation - Find a Srilankan or Chinese house owner as they give you good amenities in the house like wifi and other utilities and cheaper rent than an Indian house owner. (experience may differ for individuals.)

From time to time they organize job fairs for current graduate students. So I have seen many companies on campus like SSP, FGF Brands, Definity, CGI, and Quad Real; post on the college website.

So, my first reason for choosing this course was the cost it was the cheapest among all colleges, and they had a coop for last semester. So, I saved money for the last semester as I didn't have to pay fees to them due to coop.

It's really good. I believe once I’ll complete my studies I will be able to get a good job in a reputed company in Canada or maybe in my home country. I believe that I would be able to contribute to helping others after this program.

I chose this college because it offers great knowledge with valuable courses, and it's one of the affordable colleges for international students. I believe overall my college is a great college, and my program is very demanding. Being a student at Lambton College makes me proud. I would recommend this college to other people to also come and study at this college.

Very challenging to find a job because of the huge competition among students the college organizes a campus recruit or a job fair though the college organize such event every year where people who are graduating and trying for a COOP are eligible to attend the event where there are some banking companies, Network providers join the exhibition to find the perfect talent

It’s a good place it’s in a quiet location not too much traffic ample parking space overall the college is very clean facilities are provided maybe not in a very huge luxurious manner but gets job done

Research assistants are available especially for technical sciences. Placements and co-ops are part of the program usually and it is up to the student to find an employer.

1. Affordable. One of the cheapest in Canada. 2. Located in Ontario. 3. Sarnia campus has lower cost of living. 4. College reputation is good. 5. It is good. I love the technology being used and integrated to the modern times of education — learning management system, lockdown exams, etc. I can also see activities happening around the campus. Services and facilities are also available.

I'm not aware as I’m part of the first year. I’ll only get to know about it in the fourth sem but then I’ve heard that the opportunities are less.

Docs needed are - SOP, CV & Letter of Recommendation Different curriculum from what I’ve already studied Co-Op Opportunities 2 Year Programme The students are diverse compared to other colleges and overall, it is pretty nice as the courses are pretty good and there are 2 year and coop opportunities which are rare nowadays for colleges
