BIT - Our Second Home

Likes

The campus is green and the environment within the campus is clean.
Senior Junior bond is highly prevalent here, with seniors being there to help out juniors in every possible way.
The Return on Investment is pretty good for a state govt college.

Dislikes

The campus and the hostel is not equipped with wifi facilities.
The Library closes at 5 PM making it unable for students to manage their timing.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement after completion of the 6th semester. During the final year, students sit for the placements. The placements are good for IT firms. On the Core placements, our institution is at par with NITs.

Quite decent experience

Likes

The fee structure is quite affordable to a middle class student.
The placement scenario of the college is very good.

Dislikes

The security of girls is little questionable.
No necessary or groceries shop inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 4th to 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are several companies that come for campus placement like Amazon, Flipkart, Google, Vedanta, Tata steel, Capgemini, Oracle, Infosys, and cognizant.

Student and faculty relation is very good in this college
The the quality of education is also very good in this college
Seniors senior help in development of the juniors

Dislikes

Due due to reservation very less students are general in the college
The connectivity of hostels to lecture hall is very large

The students of Faith to 6th semester are eligible for campus placements and very much companies come to our campus to give placement almost 95% of students get placement the companies including LNT Birla and Tata Steel percentage of a student getting placement is about 99.5% my plans after getting the degree is to become government job government employee

The things i like most about BIT Sindri is, it's strong alumni network, decent placement with a great return of investment, well qualified faculties with good teaching experience and the amount of time a student gets for his/her self development.

Dislikes

No electricity issue is one of the most irritating thing because being in coal field area that to in Dhanbad, it ks very difficult to face hot temperature inside hostel. Because of no electricity the generators are used later on
Extremely poor infrastructure. Lack of basic amenities like water filters, electricity and ease to market

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester candidates become eligible for campus placements. More than 50 companies visited the campus offering a handsome amount of packages to the students. some companies are Vedanta, Tata Steel, Samsung, Wipro, TCS, L&T, Tech Mahindra, Adani Group etc. More than 600 offers were made over the last 2 years and it is increasing every year so there is a high probability of getting an offer of more than 1000. Highest on campus placement is 21 lakhs in mining department and 32 lakhs in IT department. More than 80% of the students registered for campus placements got their placements. As for myself, I am considering 2 options after getting my degree one to do business or to get placement and then go for business.

Best college of engineering in jharkhand

Likes

Big infrastructure which provide us very lage area to play.
Pleasent environment and techanical support.
Good seniors and good placements scenrio.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus selection.tsc ,tata,vedanta ,coal ondia etc. .The highest package is 45 lakhs and avg. package is 20 lakhs.80% of students are placed.I want placement.

Reflection of BIT Sindri

Likes

First of all I like the campus of BIT Sindri. It has one of the beautyful campus of my state.
Fee of BIT Sindri is very less which is affordable for all type of students.
Placement, internship of BIT Sindri is quit good.

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure of many buildings, no regular maintenance of buildings.
BIT Sindri is not a close campus. So some time it makes problems for students.
No wifi connection in hostels which is not good because it is a technology related college.

In BIT Sindri placement are best, all the students are placed with the best packages because here professor and seniors also help to improve our skills in many different fields. Many companies are coming to college to provide different internships, and an average package of 7 lpa is given in metallurgical engineering.

Likes

Bit is full of natural beauty .Environment of our college is to good.
our campus is full of education facilities
there is many club in our college for personality development .

Dislikes

there is some restriction of our college which really i dont like
Some road are not allowed for 1st year student
There isabout long distance have to travelled for attaining classes

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is on average around 800000 but there are many students of our college get upto 50 lack per annum. so you get also a good job by paying for your hard work. It is around about 95% of students get a place.

Likes

I like its spacious classrooms and hostel.
I like the food quality of mess which is very healthy and hygienic.
I like its green eco friendly environment.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. According to 2022 stats 814 job offers were offered by companies. The highest package is 45 lakhs and the average package is 7 lakh. Almost all the students get placed.

Likes

Affordability of course since the fees are minimal
good number of clubs which make college more interesting
in general good peer group which help you improve

Dislikes

not much to explore and travel since few places to visit in sindri
the summers here are rough and would recommend everyone to bring their table fans
long distance between 1st year hostels and lecture halls

Placement Experience:

6th-semester students are provided scholarships. 16 lpa for electrical highest by havells, 10 lpa average for the same branch. on average 90% of students get placed. I plan to get a good placement after the degree if I have continued interest in core or switch to the core if my interest shifts.

BIT SINDRI is one of the best oldest college in jharkhand there is good campus placement
BIT sindri has good faculty ,professor for study .
In BIT sindri there is so many company visiting

Dislikes

There is too distance from hostel to claasroom
In BIT sindri there is electricity cut too .
There is also drinking water problem too.

In my branch, there is 100 percent placement. From the final year, students become eligible for campus placement. For Metallurgy Vedanta, tata steel, etc came to our campus. The highest package is up to 14 lakh in Vedanta. And average up to 6 lahks. There is a CGPA process in our college we have to come 7 above. After getting the degree I want placement and also higher study.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
