BIT SINDRI a boon .

Likes

The infrastructure is good and the campus size is also impressive,it's spread over 470 acres of land.

Dislikes

Since it is a government college the maintenance is not that good.

Placement Experience:

Placement in our college is pretty good and it's improving every year. Students from the 6th semester are mostly eligible for placement. Various companies visit our campus both tech-based and IT. The highest package last year was 44 lpa and the average is around 8lpa. Almost every student who is eligible for placement gets placed. I am also planning to grab a good placement.

Good college in respect of return of investment.

Likes

I liked the relationship between juniors and seniors. Seniors helps juniors if junior share his/her problems with them.
Also there is less restrictions by administration, one can go freely anywhere if they want. Hostels are good and mess food here is better than other colleges
Placement is great in this college. Almost everyone get placement of average 6-7 LPA. Here core branch are quite better than tech branches

Dislikes

The administration takes a long time to declare result of end semester examination.
Wifi connection should be provided in each hostel. There is shortage of wifi connection but one can get connection by calling the railwire operator, which is only the source of internet connection here.
Some items are not available in local market. For those items one has to travel Dhanbad to buy it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose metallurgical engineering because in BIT Sindri, placement of this branch is maximum than any other branch. Also teacher and professors of this branch are well qualified. The exam is conducted in every 4-5 months with mid semester I and II between these 4-5 months. Student also get credits for scoring good marks in subjects and with thesd credits they can boost their marks which will result in increase in CGPA.

Best Affordable college with Return of investment.

Likes

supportive professors and faculty members.
College has very great Alumni network.
Fees is very low so it is affordable to students facing financial problem.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is very old.
there is no wifi facility available in the hostels.
you cannot find some product here in the market.

students going for an internship in the 6th semester got a pre-placement offer but from the 7th semester, you will be eligible for campus placement. I haven't seen any company visit but have not made any offer. The highest package is offered by 'Amazon' which is 44 LPA to 4-5 students every year and the average package is 6.5 LPA given by Adani and many more.

Review about BIT Sindri

Likes

BIT sindri has Excellent placement in core as well as IT tech.
Fee structure is very affordable. It has tution fee of 7700rs for one year.
Alumni and seniors are very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

BIT sindri infrastructure is not upto the mark. It need high development.
BIT sindri is 22km far from dhanbad city and it road connectivity is not good.
BIT sindri first year and second year hostels are not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

As today's world has a high demand for steel sk metallurgical engineering has good scope in the future. Faculty: student ratio is about 1:10. Almost every teacher has completed their Ph.D. and they have a good method of teaching. Exams are tough.

Likes

The main before taking admission which liked the most was it's free structure.
I like the campus experience as it approx 400. acre.
Seniors juniors relationship in our college is very special.Every juniors respect their seniors.

Dislikes

I don't the like the areas nearby the college.
The main city is very far from the college.
Sometimes we are having short of electricity in the hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is one most renowned college in jharkhand. Although it is a state government college but placement ratios is imppresive. One thing which is not good in our college is the students Ratio. Their are very less number of girls in the our college. Most of the faculties are a PhD Holders. There are two mid sem between every end semesters and it is quit hard to pass them.

The education fee in this Institute in affordable for all the middle class family.
The placement is very good in this Institute and mainly all the students got placement in this Institute.

Dislikes

Practical faculty has been bit increase to provide smoothly knowledge.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are applicable for the placement process. Famous companies like LNT, tata steel, Tcs, JSW, Tisco, Tata Motors, and Google are coming for placement functions. The highest package that is given to the student as well as is 45 lacks per annum and the average package is 10 lacks per annum. A minimum of 80% of students got placed on the campus.

I chose chemical engineering because In gate most of the chance is that you will get a better rank because the gate students are in this branch all over the country. Facilities are awesome they know everything they are specialised in their subject.

Likes

Seniors are very friendly and supporting.
Placements are very appreciable and its improving very fast.
Fests are very awesome and many outside students also come to enjoy the fests.

Dislikes

The sports events are very bad and cannot be appreciated
The overall personality development after studying in the college is not good.
Extra curricular activities are not of that level.

Placement Experience:

After the seventh-semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited in the college are Vedanta, Wipro, tata steel, Atlassian, Microsoft, hcl, etc. In my branch which is computer science, there was 100 per cent placement last year and the highest package was 44lpa.

The placement in BIT Sindri where they charge only 2 lakh for 4 years.
Everyone can afford this college because the annual charge is only 14000
The cultural fest of this college is also good and the helpful relationship between juniors and seniors

Dislikes

The mess menu is not upto that level and the taste is just average.
The Infrastructure of this college should be maintained and more building this college want.
The tech fest should be more advanced that the present situation.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Tata steel, TCS, Vedanta, Samsung, Amazon, and many more major companies visited our campus for placements. The highest package is 44 lakhs and it is offered by Amazon. About 90% of students are getting placed.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
