Ancient college of Jharkhand

Likes

Lush green and clean campus. Availablity of all books in central library and also even manga in the GRS Library.

Dislikes

Senior disturbance and ragging. Location of the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement Statistics of Computer Science Engineering is 100% for the batch 2022. The highest package offered was 44 Lacs per annum by Amazon and the lowest was 3.5 Lacs offered by TCS Ninja. Although the average package was 12 Lacs for the branch. The top recruiters include Amazon, Samsung, Google (off-campus), Cognizant, Wipro, Tata Steel (hire for teach role), TCS Digital, TCS Ninja, Deloitte etc. The internship basically depends on your skills. Here students got internship in DRDO, ISRO, Vedanta, Adani group, TATA Steel, Amazon, MITACS (research internship at Canada), research internships at IIT's. Core branch students get on-campus internships but teach branch students have to find off campus internships.

Likes

The thing that I liked the most is that I made some friends and that also some good ones. I have no regrets
There are clubs and societies that help you to stay busy and improve your soft skills.
This will be the last time when you'll be having some good times so better live it.

Dislikes

The mess food isn't good at all. Very poor quality.
There is no wifi facility and also lack of some equipment.
There is electricity shortage and not enough facilities in the hostel and also in the classrooms.

Placement Experience:

Students get mostly eligible for their placements after their 7th semesters. The highest package was won by an IT student which was 45 lac per annum. Companies like Amazon and Google also come here to hire students for their companies.

Inside BIT Sindri

Likes

The large campus of more than 400 acres and the lush green campus.
The friendly behaviour of most of the professors.
The exposure to various opportunities from the 1st year itself.

Dislikes

Since the campus is not in a large town, the locality outside the campus is not much developed.

Placement Experience:

The students from the 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. There are a large number of companies that visit our college some of them are TCS, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Samsung, etc. The average package is increasing every year and almost all of the students get placed in the placement.

Good internship

Likes

My overall all experience is good and I am happy to be a part of this college
Overall college life is good and environment is also good for higher study and coding culture
Faculty are very good and they teach good

Dislikes

Something seniors pokes for your dressing
Lots to labs and assignment regularly given by professor
Lots of load of daily class and 75 percent attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

In today's generation, there is a high demand of Chemical industry due to which I took chemicals. engineering in our college faculty-student ratio is 1:10 and almost every faculty is PHD cleared in our. college exam has tough checking criteria.

I liked the teachers and faculty members
I liked the hostel and friends i made in collage
I liked the clubs and all the extra curricular activities

Dislikes

I disliked the lack of transportation inside the campus
I disliked the lack of good food in menu

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, Many companies like Vedanta, TCS, Samsung, etc, The highest package is 50lakh and the average package is 7lakh, The percentage of students getting placements is above 93 percent.

Our college fees is very less than other colleges.
I also liked friends here, people around here are very nice

Dislikes

Lecture hall is very far from our hostel.
Our college is far away from main city and tere is no proper travelling facilities

Placement Experience:

The placement is good. Mostly all of the students get placed. Most of them are placed in IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc and the core companies also come in our campus like Vedanta, tata steel, reliance etc. The average package is around INR 7 to 8 Lacs per annum

Likes

Fees is very less as compared to other Btech colleges
Placements is quite good and almost every students is placed
Faculty is good qualified and good student to faculty ratio is maintained

Dislikes

Campus life is not so good in college as there is no planned annual fest is organised
Boys to girls ratio is not good this college also required girls quota

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year and 5th semester onwards placements are started and student is eligible for placements Highest package is given by Samsung 14 lakhs on campus but several students are placed in Amazon gsocs Bit Sindri has a great alumni network and several alumni helped students with placements more than 80% of students are placed in BIT Sindri with an average pakage of 6 lakhs per annum

BITians are second to none

Likes

hostel life is amazing in this college , we have club ground to play, aunty maggie shops to hangout with friends
there is not too much of ragging in this college in name of ragging seniors generally asked for intro only .
there is not too much load of academics , you will have free time to learn other skills in college life

Dislikes

for first year we cannot wear sleeper outside hostels and also some other dressing restrictions are there.

Placement Experience:

After this college took addmission through jee mains the placement of this college boosted twice. around 85-90% of students are getting placed here. especially in the core section this college definitely breaks all records. if you have any doubt regarding the placement stats visit bit Sindri official website and check the placement pdf. average package is around 8 LPA highest is around 50 LPA. my plan is to get placed in the core section.

This college evolved me. I like the campus so much.

Dislikes

Sometimes, there is some electricity problem but it is now getting solved.

Placement Experience:

Placement in B.I.T. Sindri is so good than what you expect. We have an average package of around 7,00,000/- In 2023 the highest package was 50,00,000/- which is so good if you compare it with a lot of NITs we have.

Many technical and cultural clubs are here
The hostels are good here with a very good mess

Dislikes

The hostels are old fashioned needs to be replaced by new hostels
No cultural fest every year is being organised

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
